Are Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G still worth it?

Xiaomi is already offering the latest Redmi Note series. However, is it really worth getting the new models, or should you instead opt for the older Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G models?

Redmi Note’s popularity

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series is a popular choice among consumers from various markets, including Asia, Europe, Latin America, and Africa. The series is consistently marketed to offer exceptional value for money. Despite the models in the lineup offering flagship-like features (including high-resolution cameras, AMOLED displays, premium design, and fast charging), Redmi Note models always come in mid-range or budget prices. Moreover, the series always comes in a wide variety of choices. In Europe, the latest Redmi Note series arrived with a total of five models.

Xiaomi’s latest news to fans proves the series’ fame: all its Redmi Notes have already gathered 400 million unit sales globally. To celebrate this, the company is planning to release the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G in a new Champagne Gold color in India on July 1.

Yet, despite the arrival of the new Redmi Note 14 series, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G maintain their position as some of the best Redmi smartphone models in the market.

Are Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G still a solid choice?

The Redmi Note 14 series is now available in various markets globally. Yet, the earlier Pro 5G and Pro+ 5G could still be great choices for device upgrades.

While their specs are comparatively older than those of the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G, their features and hardware are still competitive for a mid-range model in 2025.

The new Note 14 series (specifically the Pro 5G and Pro+ 5G) is ideal for those who want newer software, brighter displays, and longer-term support. Yet, in terms of better value and faster charging at a lower price, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G are the choice. Moreover, with the arrival of new Notes, some third-party retailers are now selling the already-affordable models at much lower prices.

Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G or Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G?

Both the earlier Note models are worth considering due to their flagship-like nature and affordable prices. Yet, depending on your priorities, there is a huge difference between them.

If you want all the essentials and get great value, the Note 13 Pro 5G is the choice. Yet, for a more premium experience with faster charging and a better build, the Note 13 Pro+ is a better choice.
