(ANX Camera) https://xiaomiui.net/how-to-use-miui-camera-on-aosp-based-roms-8387/ Sat, 10 Jun 2023 12:45:49 +0000 https://xiaomiui.net/?p=8387 You want to use MIUI Camera on a system other than MIUI and can’t? Good news, then! AEonAX and his team ported MIUI camera to AOSP based ROMs. This ported camera is called ANXCamera. In this way, you can experience many MIUI camera features such as AI mode in smoother AOSP roms.

Latest Update

ANXCamera has not received any updates since 2021, which has become a concern for many users. This issue arises from the lack of regular updates provided by the developers of the application. As a result, users are missing out on new features and performance improvements. This situation can have an impact on the camera experience and leave users feeling disappointed. Users hope that the developers will pay more attention to the application and provide updates to address issues or add new functionalities. However, at present, ANXCamera continues to lack updates, leading users to explore alternative solutions.

MIUI Camera on AOSP ROMs

MIUI Camera is a camera app that comes pre-installed on MIUI based ROMs. It is a default app that is included in most of the ROMs. MIUI Camera is a unique camera app as it only works for MIUI systems. Should you try installing it on another system, the camera app will crash. However, with help of ANXCamera app, you can now have access to it on AOSP based systems. Although there is a list of devices that support this app, we highly recommend you still try and see if it works on your unlisted device.

Xiaomi 13 vs Xiaomi 13 Pro Comparison https://xiaomiui.net/xiaomi-13-vs-xiaomi-13-pro-40602/ Tue, 09 May 2023 21:00:36 +0000 https://xiaomiui.net/?p=40602 Xiaomi announced 2 flagships on 11 December, these are Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13. These two devices are equipped with the latest and best hardware. Again, both devices use the same processor. So if you’re going to make a performance choice, you won’t have much difficulty. Without further ado, let’s compare these two flagships.

Xiaomi 13 vs Xiaomi 13 Pro

Xiaomi 13 vs Xiaomi 13 Pro – Camera

Pro model uses triple 50MP camera system. Xiaomi 13 also uses a triple camera system, But there is a big difference that only the main camera has a resolution of 50MP. Other 2 cameras has just 12MP resolution. In short, if resolution is an important choice, you should buy the Xiaomi 13 Pro. Laser AF is also crucial for fast focus. You should definitely choose xiaomi 13 Pro to avoid focus distortion and fast focus in videos.

Xiaomi 13 Camera Specifications

  • It has 50MP f/1.8 Leica main camera. The important thing is cameras doesn’t has Laser AF. The lack of Laser AF is ridiculous for a flagship. But Xiaomi hasn’t forgotten OIS, an important hardware feature for you to shoot your videos smoothly.
  • 2nd camera is 12MP (3.2x) telephoto. It has f/2.0 aperture. This aperture may be a little low for night shots. The telephoto lens also has OIS. You can shoot close-up videos during the day without shaking.
  • 3rd camera is 12MP ultrawide with 120˚. It has f/2.2 aperture. Probably it’ll effect nigh shots.
  • Front camera is 32MP f/2.0. It can just record 1080@30 FPS. For some reason, Xiaomi does not prefer to use the 60 FPS option on the front cameras. But 32MP will offer a good resolution.
  • Thanks to its latest Snapdragon processor, it can record video up to 8K@24 FPS. With OIS these videos will be much more awesome. And also uses HDR10+ and 10-bit Dolby Vision HDR with gyro-EIS.

Xiaomi 13 Pro Camera Specifications

  • It has 50.3MP and f/1.9 main camera. It also has Laser AF along with OIS. Xiaomi has added Laser AF to the Pro model. OIS and Laser AF will work very efficiently together.
  • 2nd camera is 50MP (3.2x) f/2.0 telephoto, same as Xiaomi 13. But the fact that this camera is 50MP will make a big difference in terms of resolution.
  • 3rd camera is 50MP and 115˚ ultrawide camera. It has f/2.2 aperture. The width angle is interestingly 5 degrees lower than the normal model. But that doesn’t mean it’s insufficient.
  • Front cameras are same, 32MP and it can record just 1080@30 FPS. Xiaomi should definitely take a step towards FPS on the front camera. At least in the Pro models.
  • Like Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro can record video up to 8K@24 FPS. Since it is already a Pro model, it could not be expected to be worse.

Xiaomi 13 vs Xiaomi 13 Pro – Performance

In fact, there is no need to compare much in this regard because both devices have the same chipset. They will probably give the same performance in almost the same games. So you don’t have to make a choice about performance. Both devices will run any game like a beast. Game Turbo 5.0 will take this gaming experience to the next level.

Xiaomi 13 – Performance

  • It has UFS 3.1 on 128GB models. But UFS 4.0 is available in 256GB and higher storage options. Also it has 8/12GB RAM options. UFS 4.0 is doesn’t matter the RAM capacity.
  • It uses Android 13 based MIUI 14. And running this software also with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8Gen 2 (SM8550). The processor uses Octa-core (1×3.2 GHz Cortex-X3 & 2×2.8 GHz Cortex-A715 & 2×2.8 GHz Cortex-A710 & 3×2.0 GHz Cortex-A510). The graphics unit underlying the high FPS in games is the Adreno 740.

Xiaomi 13 Pro – Performance

  • It has UFS 3.1 on 128GB models like Xiaomi 13.
Xiaomi 13 vs Xiaomi 13 Pro – Screen

The screens of both devices have a refresh rate of 120Hz and both of them has same punch hole notch. And uses OLED technology. A minor difference is that the Pro model has LTPO (Low temperature polycrystalline silicon). Polycrystalline silicon synthesized at relatively low temperatures compared to conventional methods. And Pro model supports 1B color. The screen-to-body ratios are almost the same, but the Pro model has a higher resolution and a larger screen. If you prefer large and clear screens, you should choose the Pro model.

Xiaomi 13 – Screen

  • It has 120Hz OLED panel with Dolby Vision and HDR10. It supports 1200nits brightness. But it can up to 1900nits when under the sun.
  • The screen is 6.36″ and it has %89.4 screen-to-body ratio.
  • It has FOD (Fingerprint on Display)
  • And this screen comes with 1080 x 2400 resolution. And of course 414 PPI density.

Xiaomi 13 Pro – Screen

  • It has 120Hz OLED panel with 1B colors and LTPO. Also uses HDR10+ and Dolby Vision like normal model. It supports 1200nits brightness too. And 1900nits under the sun.
  • It has FOD (Fingerprint on Display)
  • Screen is 6.73″. It’s little bit higher than normal model. And it has %89.6 screen-to-body ratio.
  • The resolution of the Pro model is 1440 x 3200. And it uses 552 PPI density. So the colors are more intense than the normal model.

Xiaomi 13 vs Xiaomi 13 Pro – Battery&Charging

As for the battery, the battery capacities of the two devices are very close to each other. While the regular model has a battery capacity of 4500mAh, the Pro mode has a battery capacity of 4820mAh. May differ by up to 30 minutes in terms of screen time. But the Pro model has 120W charging speed. Although this is good, it will cause the battery to run out prematurely. The regular model has a charging speed of 67W. Faster and safer.

Xiaomi 13 – Battery

  • It has 4500mAh Li-Po battery with 67W fast charge. And it uses QC quick charge 4 and PD3.0.
  • According to the Xiaomi, the 1-100 charge time is only 38 minutes with wired charge. It supports 50W wireless charging and charge time is 48 minutes from 1 to 100.
  • And it can cahrge other phones with reverse charge up to 10W.

Xiaomi 13 Pro – Battery

  • It has 4820mAh Li-Po battery with 120W fast charge. And it uses QC quick charge 4 and PD3.0. higher capacity means more screen time.
  • According to the Xiaomi, the 1-100 charge time is only 19 minutes with wired charge. It supports 50W wireless charging and charge time is 36 minutes from 1 to 100. Faster charging but more battery consumption.

Xiaomi 13 vs Xiaomi 13 Pro – Price

It is expected that the prices of the 2 flagships, which have such close features, will be very close. Prices for the regular model start at $713 (8/128) and go up to $911 (12/512). The price of the Pro model starts at $911 (8/128) and goes up to $1145 (12/512). There is almost $200 difference between the lowest version of the regular model and the lowest version of the Pro model. Worth a better experience with $200 difference. But this choice is left to you, of course.

Xiaomi 13 Pro vs iPhone 14 Pro Max https://xiaomiui.net/xiaomi-13-pro-vs-iphone-14-pro-max-40598/ Sat, 18 Mar 2023 11:30:16 +0000 https://xiaomiui.net/?p=40598 As you know, Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi 13 Pro in December. This device is Xiaomi’s latest flagship. Equipped with the latest and greatest features, you will see the Xiaomi 13 Pro compare to Apple’s latest flagship, the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Xiaomi 13 Pro vs iPhone 14 Pro Max – Camera

When it comes to video, the iPhone 14 Pro Max is far superior. Cinematic mode and 4K@60 FPS video recording support on the front camera Unfortunately, Xiaomi does not have it. But in terms of resolution, Xiaomi is more suitable for you. You can take high resolution photos without RAW. It is better if the lens is in high resolution. And if you are taking Space photos, Moon photos, you can use the pro mode in Xiaomi. Unfortunately, Apple still does not allow to use Pro mode.

iPhone 14 Pro Max Camera Specifications

  • The iPhone 14 Pro Max has triple camera system (48MP wide, 12MP ultrawide, 12MP telephoto). If you need to examine the cameras one by one, the normal size of the 48MP main camera is 12MP. 48MP photos are taken only in Apple ProRAW mode. The main camera has f/1.8 aperture. This aperture will gather enough light for night shots. Also it has 1/1.28″ sensor size. The bigger the sensor, the better night shots.
  • The focusing system is dual pixel PDAF (Phase dedection). But of course it can’t focus faster than LDAF (Laser autofocus). And this main camera has sensor-shift OIS. But what is the sensor-shift? It’s different from normal OIS. The sensor moves along with the lens. 2nd lens has is 3x telephoto lens. It has 12MP resolution and f/2.8 aperture. Of course night shots will be worse than main camera. 3rd lens is ultrawide lens. it has wide angle up to 120 degrees. And iPhone has lidar sensor (TOF). Generally using for calculating depth of portrait photos and focus. Also Apple uses this on FaceID.
  • On video side, iPhone can record 4K@24/25/30/60 FPS videos. Apple’s A16 Bionic processor still doesn’t support 8K video recording. But it can record 10-bit Dolby Vision HDR videos up to 4K@60 FPS. Also it can take cinematic videos.
  • Cinematic mode can be called portrait video for short. The main goal is to keep the object in focus and blur the remaining objects. Also iPhone can record ProRes videos. Apple ProRes is a high quality, “visually lossless” lossy video compression format developed by Apple Inc.
  • Front camera of iPhone it’s 12MP. And it has f/1.9 aperture. The front camera uses SL 3D technology to focus. This means uses FaceID’s sensors. Thanks to this sensors, it can record cinematic video on front camera. Also it supports up to 4K@60 FPS video recording.
lidar

Xiaomi 13 Pro Camera Specifications

  • The Xiaomi 13 Pro  (A.K.A Xiaomi’s latest flagship) has triple camera system too with LEICA support. All 3 of the cameras have 50MP resolution. Main camera has f/1.9 aperture. This too enough for night shots.
  • Xiaomi’s main camera uses LDAF next to of PDAF. This means Xiaomi is better at fast focus. Also it has OIS. Thanks to OIS, the shake will be reduced to the minimum level in the videos you shoot. 2nd camera is 3.2x telephoto lens. It has f/2.0 aperture. The combination of 3.2X telephoto zoom and 50MP resolution will deliver a great photo without losing details. 3rd camera is ultrawide camera. But this camera is only 115 degrees wide angle.
  • On video side, Xiaomi can record up to 8K@24 FPS with HDR. And also supports HDR 10+ with Dolby Vision. GyroEIS along with OIS helps to prevent video shake. But it hasn’t cinematic mode on front and back camera. This is a necessary feature for professionals.
  • Xiaomi 13 Pro’s front camera is 32MP. And only recording 1080@30 FPS videos. Not recording even 4K@30 FPS videos. It would make more sense to offer 60 FPS video support to the front camera instead of adding 8K to the rear camera.

Xiaomi 13 Pro vs iPhone 14 Pro Max – Performance

AnTuTu shows Xiaomi is better than iPhone 14 Pro Max. But if you look at the geekbench score, Xiaomi and iPhone has almost same scores. But if you want stabilization buy iPhone 14 Pro Max because of iOS. If you’re scaring of lag stuffs. Better buy Xiaomi.

iPhone 14 Pro Max’s Performance

  • iPhone 14 Pro Max has Apple A16 Bionic chip. A16 Bionic is Hexa-core mobile processor by Apple. And it uses 2×3.46 GHz Everest + 4×2.02 GHz Sawtooth. On graphic side, iPhone  14 Pro Max satill uses their own products. Apple GPU (5 core). And also Apple has used NVMe as storage on iPhone 14 Pro max. All storage versions has 6GB RAM.
  • AnTuTu result of iPhone is 955.884 (v9). almost 1 million points. Apple really does a great job on performance. GeekBench 5.1 score is 1873 single-core and 5363 multi-core score. Metal score is 15.355. This is how the device performs, it would be crazy to even think that there is a game you can’t play.
  • But some Apple users talking about lags in games. Probably caused by the screen changing the refresh rate 1-120Hz Dynamically. While this situation has been going on for months, Apple still has not brought a solution to this situation.

Xiaomi 13 Pro’s Performance

  • Xiaomi 13 Pro has Qualcomm Snapdragon 8Gen 2 (SM8550). Manufactured by TSMC. The most important point in Qualcomm’s processors is the manufacturer. If TSMC produced the processor, it generally does a great job in terms of performance and heating. But if Samsung is involved, that is, if Samsung produced the processor, there are heat-related problems. Like Xiaomi 11’s WI-FI solders melting from the heat.
  • This processor has 8 cores so octa-core. It has 1×3.2 GHz Cortex-X3 & 2×2.8 GHz Cortex-A715 & 2×2.8 GHz Cortex-A710 & 3×2.0 GHz Cortex-A510 cores. And using Adreno 740 for graphics. Xiaomi 13 Pro breaks the score with 1.255.000 point on AnTuTu (v9). Looks like it beats iPhone 14 Pro Max here. But not that good at GeekBench. It scores 1504 point at single-core. And scores 5342 point multi-core. It’s very close to the iPhone 14 Pro Max but doesn’t look superior here. 128 GB version of Xiaomi 13 PRo, uses UFS 3.1. But if you’re using 256 or 512 GB version of this device, you will be use UFS 4.0. 256GB and above versions have 12GB of RAM, others use 8GB of RAM.

Xiaomi 13 Pro vs iPhone 14 Pro Max – Screen

Both screens made from OLED panel. Both of them has 120Hz refresh rate. And HD quality but if you don’t want a really big notch of the top of your screen. Buy Xiaomi because it has a smaller notch. If you like dynamic Island, you need to buy iPhone.

iPhone 14 Pro Max’s Screen Specifications

  • iPhone 14 Pro Max has LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED screen. Blacks look blacker thanks to the OLED display. Because where there are black colors, the pixels turn themselves off. And colors look much more vibrant thanks to the Super retina XDR display. and using Apple’s new innovation Dynamic Island. Also it has 120Hz dynamic refresh rate. It can change the refresh rate themself dynamicly to 1-120 Hz. The scren supports HDR 10 And Dolby Vision like Cameras. This great screen can bright up to 1000 nits brightness. But it can reach to 2000 nits on HBM (High Brightness mode).
  • The screen is 6.7″. It has %88 screen-to-body ratio. Resolution of this screen is 1290 x 2796. Also Apple has added AOD (Always On Display) to A16 Bionic devices. And it has 460 PPI density. This will prevent us from seeing the pixels of the screen. And Apple used Gorilla Glass Seramic Shield to protect screen on iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Xiaomi 13 Pro’s Screen Specifications

  • Xiaomi 13 Pro has LTPO OLED screen with 1B colors. This means it can show more colors than iPhone 14 Pro Max. Xiaomi too using HDR10+ and Dolby Vision on their screens. Max brighness is 1200 nits for this device. It can up to 1900 nits on HBM.
  • Size of this screen is 6.73″. It has %89.6 screen-to-body ratio which is better than iPhone 14 Pro Max. Resolution is 1440 x 3200 pixels. In this regard, the Xiaomi 13 Pro takes the lead. Also uses 552 PPI denisty. And uses Gorilla Glass Victus to protect screen. And the fingerprint sensor is under the screen.

Xiaomi 13 Pro vs iPhone 14 Pro Max – Battery

On battery side, you need to select Xiaomi if you want to fast charging but your battery life decrease quickly. On the Apple side you need to wait for more time to charge battery. But butter will not decrease quickly.

iPhone 14 Pro Max’s Battery

  • iPhone 14 Pro Max has Li-Ion 4323 mAh battery. This battery supports 20W  charging with PD 2.0. It’s taking 1 hour and 55mins charge to 1-100. Also supports 15W Magsafe charging.
  • Apple still manages to lag behind in this regard. Despite this slow filling, it is possible to get up to 10 hours of screen time, unlike old Apple devices that give very little screen time. Although slow, slow charging is safer. Slows down battery aging.

Xiaomi 13 Pro’s Battery

  • Xiaomi 13 Pro has Li-Po 4820 mAh Battery which is bigger than iPhone 14 Pro Max. But it’s using PD 3.0 with QC 4.0. Thanks to these, a charging speed of up to 120W can be achieved.
  • Xiaomi 13 Pro can provide a full charge in 19 minutes with 120W charging speed. Also supports 50W wireless charging. Wireless charging takes 36 min to 1-100. And you can charge your friend’s phone with reverse charge up to 10W. Apple doesn’t has this.

Xiaomi 13 Pro vs iPhone 14 Pro Max – Price

  • The prices of the two devices bought from the store are very close to each other. Xiaomi 13 Pro starts at $999, iPhone 14 Pro Max starts at $999. So you will not see the question of is it worth the difference here.
  • It is a choice that is entirely up to the individual. the interface you are used to, the cloud storage you use and etc. Apple should be preferred for video. Also Xiaomi if you want fast charging. But keep in mind that 120W charging speed will cause the battery to wear out quickly.
  • Also check out the detailed review of Xiaomi 13 pro. Don’t forget to write in the comments which one you prefer.

Xiaomi 12S Ultra vs iPhone 13 Pro – Specs Comparison https://xiaomiui.net/xiaomi-12s-ultra-vs-iphone-13-pro-specs-comparison-35016/ Sun, 18 Sep 2022 08:25:33 +0000 https://xiaomiui.net/?p=35016 You will see comparison of two expensive flagships in this article. Xiaomi 12S Ultra vs iPhone 13 Pro. If you are trying to select between this devices, this article will help you. Before reading the whole article, a little spoiler. Apple is still lagging behind. Xiaomi uses as much new technology as it can. Let’s move on to the article itself.

Xiaomi 12S Ultra vs iPhone 13 Pro

In general, both do not have superiority that overwhelms each other. both devices are very powerful and useful, giving a premium feel. The iPhone 13 Pro uses the iOS operating system, while the Xiaomi 12S Ultra uses the Android-based MIUI interface. It’s worth mentioning that iOS by interface is pretty fluid. But if you want to install APK on your device, root it, etc., your choice should be in the direction of Xiaomi 12S Ultra. On iOS systems such things are not impossible, but jailbreaking is required to do them, and on iOS systems Jailbreak is usually a very late process.

Long story short, iOS is 1 step ahead in terms of fluidity and stability in terms of interface, but if you are not an end-user, it would be more logical to choose the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.

Xiaomi 12S Ultra vs iPhone 13 Pro – Screen comparison

Xiaomi 12S Ultra has QHD+(1440X3200) 120Hz AMOLED screen. The screen size is 6.73″. This screen has HDR10+, dolby vision, 8,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 10bit color depth, 522 PPI, 240Hz touch response and 1500 nits (max) screen brightness. Xiaomi 12S Ultra’s screen looks pretty full. The ratio of this screen, which is protected by Gorilla glass victus, compared to the device is 89%.

On iPhone 13 Pro side, it has FHD+(1170×2532) 120Hz Super Retina XDR OLED screen. This screen has 460 PPI, it’s lower than Xiaomi 12S Ultra’s. Also iPhone 13 Pro has True tone, 2.000.000:1 contrast ratio and 1200 nits (max) screen brightness. The ratio of the screen to the body protected by Corning Ceramic Shield Glass is 85% on the iPhone 13 Pro.

to be honest, the screen of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra is much better, not counting the Super Retina XDR display and ceramic protection, better pixel density, higher resolution, always on display (Apple still don’t know this.), better contrast ratio, more good screen-to-body ratio. Xiaomi 12S Ultra is better in terms of display.

Xiaomi 12S Ultra vs iPhone 13 Pro – Battery comparison

In fact, there is no need to compare it, everyone knows how far behind Apple is in terms of battery/charging. But let’s take a look anyway. Xiaomi 12S Ultra comes with a 4860mAh battery. This battery has a wired charging speed of 67W. 50W wirelessly. These speeds are quite enough for today. For Xiaomi 12S Ultra, it takes only 43 minutes to charge 0-100 with 67W. In addition, thanks to the +4500 mAh battery, you do not need to charge your device during average use throughout the day.

On the iPhone side, the situation is a little different, almost all companies provide +50W charging speed, while Apple still uses slow charging on their devices. Although over 10W is considered fast charging, 27W (max) is a very low speed compared to its competitors. The iPhone 13 Pro has a 3095 mAh battery. Provides 27W (max) charging speed with wired charging and with this speed, the 3095 mAh battery is fully charged from 0-100 in 1 hour and 51 minutes. The wireless charging speed is 7.5W, which is really funny nowadays. But with MagSafe it can go up to 15W.

Apple has made improvements to the battery recently, although not enough. Probably iPhone 13 Pro can also be used without charging for 1 day in normal use. However, the charging speed is quite low, if it is an important factor, no one would prefer a device that charges in 2 hours instead of 43 minutes. Xiaomi 12S Ultra seems to have made quite a difference in this regard.

Xiaomi 12S Ultra vs iPhone 13 Pro – Camera comparison

The thing that most people are most curious about is the cameras. The most important difference between these two devices is that the Xiaomi 12S Ultra uses 1″ Sony IMX 989. To put it briefly and concisely, bigger sensor means better and quality photos. In addition, it has a very high effect as it captures more light in night shots. On the iPhone 13 Pro, IMX703 with a 1/1.66″ sensor size is used as the main camera. Both devices has OIS (optical image stabilization).

Xiaomi 12S Ultra has quad rear camera system. 50 mpx Main camera, 48 mpx wide angle camera and 48 mpx telephoto camera. Also has 0.3 mpx ToF 3D sensor. And it has video recording support up to 8k 24 FPS. It should also be noted that the Xiaomi 12S Ultra comes with a high-quality Leica lens and camera software. The front camera is a 32 mpx standard front camera in the form of a hole in the screen.

iPhone 13 Pro too has quad rear camera system. main camera, telephoto camera, wide angle camera and ToF sensor. All of that cameras 12mpx. Although megapixel does not play a big role in the quality of the photo, we can say that 12 mpx is a bit old. You must know that Apple is superior to all companies in video, only video recording options are limited to a maximum of 4k 60 FPS. not a big problem. You make the choice about cameras. And specify in the comments.

Xiaomi 12S Ultra vs iPhone 13 Pro – Performance comparison

Xiaomi 12S Ultra uses Snapdragon 8+Gen1 flagship processor manufactured by TSMC. Produced with 4nm technology, this processor runs at 3.2 GHz. On the GPU side, Qualcomm Adreno 730 is used, its frequency is 730 MHz. This performance beast from Xiaomi gets 1,105,958 points from antutu v9. It also uses UFS3.1 as storage. And uses LPDDR5 RAMs.

Apple uses the Apple A15 Bionic chipset. This processor is 6 core. so it’s called hexa-core. Of course, most flagship devices today use octa-core (8 core) processors. Produced with 5nm, this processor runs at 3.1 GHz. And it uses Apple’s 5-core GPU as GPU. They caught the age by using LPDDR5 in RAMs. Antutu v9 score is only 839,675. With fewer cores and lower frequency in general, it can’t be expected to surpass the Xiaomi 12S Ultra anyway. Xiaomi 12S Ultra is ahead in terms of performance.

This is the general comparison, my personal opinion, as an Android lover, will be the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. But you have to choose according to your own criteria. Let me know in the comments which device you like more. Also you can read the general VS between Xiaomi and Apple.

How to translate all apps with AllTrans https://xiaomiui.net/how-to-translate-all-apps-with-alltrans-34021/ Tue, 16 Aug 2022 10:16:47 +0000 https://xiaomiui.net/?p=34021 AllTrans does use a translator to translate apps from within the app. It doesn’t work like Google Lens. Replaces the text with the translated text instead of putting the translated text on top of the text. The sentence was a little confusing, but you will understand when you read the article. Thanks to this application, you can use non-multi-language applications such as Coolapk in your own language. Let’s move on to the installation steps of the AllTrans app!

Requirements

  1. Magisk, if you don’t have magisk; you can install it following this article.
  2. LSPosed, if you don’t have LSPosed; you can install it following this article.
  3. AllTrans app.

How to install AllTrans app

  • Open the LSPosed app. Then tap the download icon on left-bottom. Then you will see downloadable modules. Tap the search box and type “all” and select AllTrans. Then tap the releases button and tap assets button. Assets of AllTrans will pop-up, download and install it.
  • Then you will see a notification from LSPosed app. Tap on it and select AllTrans app here. Then tap enable module button. It will select recommended stuffs. But you have to select the apps that you want to translate. Select those apps and reboot your device.
alltrans
  • Now you must open the AllTrans app. After that, you will see 3 sections. First one is app list, seconds one is settings for all apps, third one is instructions. Tap the global settings and select  translation provider. Google is recommended, but you can select what do you want.
  • Then go back the “app to translate” tab. And find your app for translating. Unfortunately the app hasn’t an app search box. So you need to find via scrolling to down. If you found the app, firstly tap the little box to enable app for translation. Then tap the app name for adjusting translation settings. After that you will see some settings. Enable “override global settings” as global settings will not be stable for all apps.
  • The select the app’s stock language. While doing this, a pop-up will appear. If you downloading the language files for first time, tap download. No need to repeatedly download the same language for subsequent uses. Then select the target language. Everything above applies to the target language as well. Usually you do not need to change the other settings.

And thats it! you set the AllTrans app. You can see the comparisons below. As you can see, Instead of pasting text on the text like Google Lens, the application turns into the language you want.

It is highly recommended module if you are using Root and LSPosed. Instead of dealing with Google Lens, you can use your app designed for your language in just a few steps! Also, if you are using LSPosed with Zygisk, the application you want to translate should not be in Denylist. If the application is in Denylis, LSPosed modules cannot access that application and therefore the module becomes unusable for that application.
