Because everything revolves around the internet, it’s inconvenient when your WI-FI goes down. You may be wondering why your phone keeps disconnecting. Well, there are various reasons behind it such as the placement of your router, the number of devices connected, and the Wifi range. The problem could even be with your phone itself. With that being said. Let’s go over the top 5 ways to solve this problem!

1. Reconnect to the network

Sometimes simply reconnecting to a Wi-Fi network that keeps disconnecting can help resolve the problem. Here’s how to do it on an Android device.

To reconnect to the network, go to settings and select the networks and internet option:

1. If your device is connected to a network, select Wi-Fi.

2. Look for an advanced setting to view more information about the connected network, and then click Forget.

This disconnects your device from the Wi-Fi network and deletes the network from the memory of your phone. Now, reconnect to the network by entering the network’s credentials — if the network has one, type it in.

2. Forget old or other Wi-Fi networks

When there are multiple available networks in your phone’s range, the Android OS usually attempts to connect to the network with the strongest signal strength. This is a fantastic feature. One disadvantage is that your device’s Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting and reconnecting while searching for and switching to the best network.

You can resolve this by forgetting previously connected available networks. Simply repeat the previous steps to forget all networks. Alternatively, you can go to Settings> Reset options >Reset Wi-Fi> Mobile & Bluetooth to erase all networks at once.

3. Don’t go too far from the Wi-Fi router

If you move around your house while connected to Wi-Fi, the range of your router could be held responsible. Long distance may have an impact on the Wi-Fi connection. As a result, if your phone keeps disconnecting from the Wi-Fi. Ensure that you’re still within range of the connection.

Check the Wi-Fi signal quality in your status bar to see if you’re too far away from the network. If the signal quality is poor, it means you need to get closer to the router.

It is recommended that the router be placed centrally so that its signal reaches everywhere.

Also, determine whether you are using the 2.4GHz or 5GHz band. The 2.4GHz band has a longer range but limited speed, whereas the 5GHz band has a shorter range but high-speed connectivity. If your router has a limited range, you can also use range extenders. When connected to Wi-Fi, it’s best if you stay close to the router.

4. Update your phone and the router’s software

Do you realize how OS updates add new features to your smartphone while also fixing bugs and issues? The same also happens when update the firmware of your router. If you are certain that the Wi-Fi disconnecting issue on your Android phone is caused by a problem with your router, upgrading the firmware may help.

It should be simple to install updates for your router. Simply consult the user’s manual or go to the manufacturer’s website for the procedures. Meanwhile, you can update your Android phone by following these steps.

• Open the Settings app.
• Tap on System
• Select System or Software Update.
• Click the Check for Update button.
• If it is available, download and install it immediately.

5. Turn off network auto-switch

The network auto-switch feature is a killer feature on most modern Android phones. When activated, it allows your device to seamlessly switch between WiFi networks and mobile data based on their connection speed. However, sometimes it causes the Wi-Fi connection on your device to malfunction. To disable it:

• Long-press the WiFi tile in the quick settings section.
• Then, select Wi-Fi preferences.
• To disable the feature, deselect “Auto switch to mobile data.”
• Alternatively, enable “Ask before switching” to prevent Wi-Fi from disconnecting without your permission.

As mentioned above, Xiaomi Book S is a 2-in-one laptop meaning that it can be used both as a laptop and a tablet. The laptop gains power from a 7nm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is fueled by a 38.08Whr battery, which can last up to 13 hours of continuous use. The battery comes with a 65W fast charging support.

The Xiaomi Book S houses a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front snapper. Other notable features include dual 2W stereo speakers and dual microphones. The laptop runs Windows 11 out of the box.

The Xiaomi Book S is priced at €699 and will be sold through the official Xiaomi website in Europe. The laptop will be available for sale starting from June 21. It is not known when the laptop will make its way to other countries. We hope to learn more in the coming days.

Redmi Note 10S Available at a Sweet Rs 2,000 ($25) discount

The Redmi Note 10S was initially launched in India in two configurations– 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. However, the company also launched a new variant offering 8 GB RAM and 128 GB of storage in December 2021. All the three models came at a price of Rs 14,999 ($192), Rs 15,999 ($205), and Rs 17,499 ($224) respectively.

However, thanks to the price cute the Redmi Note 10S price in India is now Rs 12,999 for the 6GB/64GB storage, 14,999 ($192) for the 6GB/128GB model, and Rs 16,499 ($218) for 8GB/128GB model. That’s not all, Amazon is offering a Rs 500 discount via coupon and a 10 percent instant discount of up to Rs 1250 through ICICI Bank Credit card EMI transactions. You might want to rush if you wish to buy the smartphone.

Redmi Note 10S Specifications

The Redmi Note 10S flaunts a 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 SoC paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The handset runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 custom skin out of the box.

The Redmi Note 10S is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. As far as the camera is concerned, the smartphone houses a quad-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. While on the front, It has a 13MP camera for selfies and video calls.

What is MIUI Optimization

MIUI optimization is an option that helps to load the app and the app data in parallel to reduce load times and ensure a smooth user experience. It also enables a lot of MIUI-based settings & optimizations & interface as per the guidelines set by the MIUI developers.

The MIUI optimization can help your Xiaomi smartphone function better. Because it dismisses recently used applications and manages RAM so that your phone can run applications seamlessly and efficiently. Moreover, it also lowers the power consumption to give a better battery life.

Should you turn off MIUI Optimization?

How to turn off or on MIUI Optimization?

Turning MIUI optimization Off/On can be a little tricky because in some phones the settings are hidden. You can turn off/on MIUI Optimization by following the steps given below:

• Scroll down to find Additional Settings and tap
• Now look to find Developer Options. If it’s not visible, go to the about section on the settings and tap on the MIUI version, keep tapping until it displays “You are a developer now”. Once you get this message, head over to the Advanced settings and you’ll find the developer option.
• Now scroll down in the Developer options to find MIUI Optimization and turn it on/off

Xiaomi 12 Ultra, 12S, 12S Pro and 12S Pro Dimensity edition appeared on the CMIIT website with model numbers 2203121C, 2206123SC, 2206122SC, and 2207122MC respectively. The CMIIT listing does not shed much light on the specifications for the smartphone. However, it hints that Xiaomi may launch these smartphones very soon.

As for the specifications, we know that Xiaomi 12S Pro will come in two Soc variants, one with Dimensity 9000 and the other with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Previous listings have revealed that the Snapdragon variant will come with 120W fast charging whereas the Dimensity one will only have 67W charging. Other specifications of smartphones are yet to be known.

The most interesting among these 4 phones is the Xiaomi 12 Ultra which is expected to bring revolution in Xiaomi’s camera world with its Leica co-developed camera setup. Xiaomi 12 Ultra is rumored to feature a triple camera setup on the back consisting of a 50-megapixel main lens (with OIS), coupled with a 48-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 48-megapixel periscopic telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. Lastly, the rear could also feature a ToF sensor and a laser autofocus sensor.

Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 + gen 1 Soc and is expected to support 120W fast charging.

If we talk about the Xiaomi 12S, it will also feature the same processor as the 12 Ultra and is expected to sport a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 50-megapixel primary camera on the back. It could also have the Leica branded lens for the rear cameras.

Xiaomi Mijia Wireless Vacuum Cleaner K10 Pro Features

Xiaomi Mijia Wireless Vacuum Cleaner K10 Pro is a flagship device and it matches the capabilities of premium Dyson vacuum cleaners. The device has the typical minimalist “Mijia” design. The all-white body can be seen as a Mijia product at one glance, it looks great overall.

Lei Jun, the owner of Xiaomi uses the latest Xiaomi 12 smartphone. We came to know this through Weibo. For those who don’t know, Weibo is the Chinese equivalent of Twitter. One Interesting feature of Weibo is that it detects the smartphone from which a post is made unlike Twitter which only tells whether the device is Android or IOS.

As you can see in the image above, Lei June has made that post using Xiaomi 12. The post was done only recently so it indicates that he hasn’t yet shifted to the upcoming 11T series. Xiaomi 12 is a flagship smartphone that competes with the iPhone 13 and Samsung Galaxy S22s of the World. Let’s check out the features of the smartphone.

Xiaomi 12 Features and Specs

Xiaomi 12 was officially released back in Dec. 31, 2021. The handset is powered by the Qualcomm SM8450 Snapdragon 8 Gen1 Octa-core processor while the GPU is Adreno 730. Xiaomi 12 comes with a 6.28 inches OLED display that provides 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. Moreover, the display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Talking about the optics, the rear camera features a triple-camera: 50 MP (wide) + 13 MP (ultrawide) + 5MP (telephoto macro) sensor lenses. While the front boasts a 32 MP (wide) snapper for selfies and video calling.

The smartphone is equipped with sensors such as Fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, proximity, gyro, compass, color spectrum. Xiaomi 12 is fueled by a 4500mAh battery that supports 67W Fast charging, 50W Fast wireless charging, and 10W Reverse wireless charging 10W along with Power Delivery 3.0 and Quick Charge 4+. According to the company, the new Mijia Sleep Wake-up Lamp features a unique wake-up light system that uses full spectrum lamp beads to simulate the Sun. Basically, it contains 198 LED arrays along with 15 different white noise options and 10 dynamic scene settings. By synchronizing with the sun, it can effectively mimic a sunrise and sunset cycle throughout the day, which means, in effect, getting up with the sun and going to sleep with it.

The gadget can dynamically replicate the sunset during sunset by gradually turning off the lamp’s lights and providing white noise for an immersive sleep experience. Whereas during the sunrise, the Mijia Smart Alarm Lamp activates around 30 minutes before the alarm to mimic a sunrise by gradually turning the lights on. Apparently, this causes the body to wake up naturally, instead of being annoyingly awake by the sound of the alarm.

Xiaomi Mijia Sleep Wake-up lamp has a wide color spectrum coverage that is approximately 30% greater than the display’s 100% sRGB colour range. There is also a night light option that turns on the light automatically and, owing to the 3 / 100.000 deep dimming algorithm, can replicate the full moon and how it illuminates the earth.

The new Mijia device can also be used to help with yoga routines. In the breathing meditation mode, users can take regular deep breaths in time with the light rhythms. This is intended to assist the user relax their body and mind. Moreover, the Mijia lamp is lightweight and weighs only 1.1 kilograms. It is developed for people who suffer from insomnia and other sleeping problems.

Xiaomi TV EA Pro series Features and Specs

The Xiaomi TV EA Pro series adopts a full-screen design with the bezel less than 2mm. The screen-to-body ratio for the 55-inch version is 95.1%, 95.8% for the 65-inch version, and 96.1 % for the 75-inch version. The fuselage features a Unibody metal integrated-moulding process, while the frame and backplane are more integrated.

As for the display, the Xiaomi TV Pro series has a resolution of 3840×2160, supports 4K HDR decoding, resulting in more distinct image layers as well as improved brightness and clarity.

The TV also features MEMC motion compensation, a 1 billion primary color display and E3. In addition, it has Xiaomi’s self-developed image quality adjustment technology, which uses system and hardware configuration to optimize the performance of images. There are specific enhancements in terms of clarity, color, light and dark levels, etc., to make the picture quality clearer and more transparent.

The TV boasts a built-in high-power stereo, DTS sound decoding, and a 15-segment intelligent balanced sound system to provide a more immersive audio-visual experience.

In terms of performance, the Xiaomi TV EA Pro is powered by the MT9638 chip, which is capable of handling daily multitasking and high-frequency screen operations with ease. The storage capacity is 2GB+16GB. It supports dual-band Wi-Fi, and it runs the MIUI TV 3.0 operating system.

As far as interfaces are concerned, Xiaomi TV EA Pro offers 2*HDMI (including an ARC), 2*USB, AV-in, S/PDIF, antenna and network cable interfaces.

Despite not having officially announced the device, Xiaomi recently shared a certification document for the Electric Scooter 4 Pro on its community website. As you can see in the image below, Xiaomi received an EC Declaration of Conformity (CE) for the electric scooter, which is available in English, French, German, Italian, Polish, and Spanish. We are not really sure why Xiaomi published the CE document itself, however, you can view the document in all six language versions by heading over here.

According to the conformity document, the Electric Scooter 4 Pro is manufactured by Ninebot, which was recently acquired by Segway. The document also mentions three variations of the Electric Scooter 4 Pro. The models are DDHBC20NEB, DDHBC21NEB, and DDHBC23NEB, with no clear differences at this time. While there are no details on the expected release date, we do know it is coming soon.

It is worth mentioning that the Electric Scooter 3 launched last year was manufactured by Navee. So, it remains to be seen why Xiaomi changed suppliers for the Electric Scooter 4 Pro and if this will also be the case with the Electric Scooter 4 or an Electric Scooter 4 Lite.
