Oppo Product Manager Zhou Yibao revealed the four names of the upcoming Oppo Find X9 series models alongside their launch timelines.
The brand will update its Find X series this year, and it will include several models. Oppo’s Find series manager revealed the details in a recent online post, confirming that the lineup consists of the Oppo Find X9, Oppo Find X9 Pro, Oppo Find X9s, Ug Oppo Find X9 Ultra.
As expected, the models’ unveiling will be split into two events. According to the official, the vanilla and Pro models will be presented in the second half of 2025. Meanwhile, the second event will reveal the X9s and Ultra variants, which should launch in the first half of the year.
To recall, the current Oppo Find X8 series in China includes the Oppo Find X8, Oppo Find X8 Pro, Oppo Find X8 Ultra, Oppo Find X8s, and Oppo Find X8s+. They also debuted in two batches, with the first two launching in October 2024 and the rest coming in April 2025. If there are no delays, the next Find series could also arrive in the same months.
According to earlier reports, the Find X9s has a display measuring around 6.3 inches. The screen will also be flat, just like the one in the Oppo Find X8s. Moreover, from the current optical fingerprint scanner, the device is allegedly getting an upgrade by shifting to ultrasonic this year. The Oppo smartphone is allegedly being tested with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 and a trio of 50MP cameras on its back, and it should include a 50MP periscope unit.
The Pro, meanwhile, allegedly only comes with three cameras with a 200MP periscope unit. The Ultra variant, nonetheless, is reportedly coming with a 200MP/50MP/50MP/50MP rear camera configuration. It also has adjustable focal lengths and two periscope cameras. The main periscope is said to employ a 1/1.3″ lens with 3x optical zoom. Oppo is reportedly testing the Samsung ISOCELL HP5 and JN5 lenses for the system.
According to the brand, the next Ultra variant for a global rollout is being considered. To recall, the Find X8 Ultra is exclusive to China. Nonetheless, some of the series models are available globally, including Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and more.
