New certification confirms Motorola Razr+ 2025’s ‘Razr 60 Ultra’ global monicker

A newly surfaced certification has revealed that the Motorola Razr+ 2025 will indeed be called Motorola Razr 60 Ultra globally.

The news follows an earlier rumor claiming that the Motorola Razr+ 2025 (in North America) will be named “Razr Ultra 2025” in other markets. However, UAE’s TDRA certification says otherwise by directly naming the phone in the same format the brand has always been using globally: Razr 60 Ultra.

In related news, the Motorola Razr+ 2025, AKA Motorola Razr 60 Ultra, is expected to finally be a true flagship device. According to leaks, the device will finally feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. This is somewhat of a surprise since its predecessor only debuted with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, a lower version of the then-flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Yet, the Razr 60 Ultra is still expected to share huge similarities with its predecessor, especially in terms of its external display. As per reports, the main 6.9″ display still has decent bezels and a punch-hole cutout in the upper center. The back features the secondary 4″ display, which consumes the entirety of the upper back panel.
