Honor has confirmed that it has integrated the DeepSeek AI into its YOYO assistant.
Various smartphone brands have started embracing AI technology, and the latest to do so is Honor. Recently, the Chinese brand integrated DeepSeek AI into its YOYO assistant. This should make the assistant smarter, giving it better generative capabilities and the ability to answer questions more efficiently.
Nonetheless, it is important to note that Honor users in China should update their YOYO assistant to the latest version (80.0.1.503 or higher). Moreover, it only covers smartphones running on MagicOS 8.0 and above. The feature can be accessed by swiping up from the bottom of the YOYO assistant’s display and tapping DeepSeek-R1.
Honor is the latest brand to introduce DeepSeek in its creations. Recently, Huawei shared its intention to integrate it into its cloud services, while Oppo said that the DeepSeek will be available soon in its upcoming Oppo Find N5 foldable.
