China’s iQOO Z10 houses bigger 8010mAh cell, cert leak shows

A leaked certification of the iQOO Z10’s Chinese variant shows that it is getting a bigger battery than its global counterpart.

The iQOO model is coming to China soon. However, this is different from the version we welcomed internationally in April. As usual and expected, this domestic variant comes with a few upgrades over its global sibling.

To start, it comes with a bigger 8010mAh battery. To recall, the Z10 in the international market only has a 7300mAh cell, which, of course, is still impressive. Yet, Chinese fans are set to get more power in the upcoming variant.

According to earlier leaks, the iQOO model also features a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, a flat 1.5K OLED, and a 50MP main camera. To compare, the global variant of the phone has the following specs:

  • Snapdragon 7s Gen 3
  • 8GB and 12GB RAM
  • 128GB and 256GB storage
  • 6.77″ 120Hz AMOLED with 2392x1080px resolution and in-display optical fingerprint sensor
  • 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with OIS + 2MP bokeh
  • 32MP selfie camera
  • 7300mAh battery
  • 90W charging
  • 7.5W reverse wired charging
  • Funtouch OS 15
  • Glacier Silver and Stellar Black
