Confirmed: Vivo X Fold 5 is housing 6000mAh battery

After earlier leaks, Vivo has finally revealed that the Vivo X Fold 5 indeed has a 6000mAh battery inside its thin body.

The Vivo foldable will launch on June 25. Ahead of the date, we are gradually receiving confirmations from the brand about the different details of the phone. Today, Vivo’s Han Boxiao revealed that the model boasts a huge 6000mAh battery inside, which will be the biggest in the foldable market. To make things more impressive, the model weighs 209g and only measures 4.3mm and 9.33mm when unfolded and folded, respectively.

In addition to its huge battery, the book-style smartphone will also impress in other departments. As revealed by the company days ago, the phone also supports multiple protection ratings, including IPX9+, allowing users to fold the phone under 1 meter deep in the water up to 1000 times. Moreover, Vivo confirmed that it can connect to the Apple Watch. Once connected, the wearable can display the phone’s app and text message notifications. It can also sync the Apple Watch data (daily step goals, heart rate, calorie consumption, sleep, and more) to the Vivo Health App.
