Xiaomi announced that the Xiaomi 15S Pro would be officially unveiled on May 22 in China.
The phone will be launched alongside the Pad 7 Ultra at a major event in the country. Both devices are expected to be the brand’s first creations to use its own in-house 3nm Xring O1 chipset. The SoC is reportedly a good match against Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. According to earlier reports, the chip is equipped with 1x Cortex-X925 (3.2GHz), 3x Cortex-A725 (2.6GHz), and 4x Cortex-A520 (2.0GHz).
Given its moniker, it is safe to assume that it would be based on the original Xiaomi 15 Pro model. According to rumors, it could adopt some of the said model’s features. It could offer a 6.73″ curved 2K 120Hz display, a 50MP main camera, a periscope telephoto unit, a 6100mAh battery, and 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.
