A boatload of new smartphones are expected to launch before the end of the year. In line with this, leaks and rumors about the devices continue to stream endlessly online.
As shared earlier by the reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, several phones will debut in October to November due to the arrival of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and Dimensity 9400 chips. According to the tipster, the list includes the Xiaomi 15, Vivo X200, Oppo Find X8, OnePlus 13, iQOO13, Realme GT7 Pro, and Redmi K80 series.

- DCS recently shared several key details of the iQOO Z9 Turbo+, including its Dimensity 9300+ chip, 6.78″ 1.5K+144Hz straight screen, 16MP selfie camera, 50MP + 8MP main camera setup, 6000mAh battery, 80W fast charging, and short-focus optical fingerprint support.
- According to a new report from International Data Corporation, Vivo leads the Q2 2024 Indian smartphone market. The firm’s data shows that the country saw a 3.2% YoY smartphone market shipping growth in the said quarter, with Vivo leading the competition.
- The Nokia X30, Nokia G60 5G, and Nokia G42 5G models can now get their August 2024 security patch update. Global users should now be able to see the updates available on their devices.
- DCS says that the Huawei Nova 13 series and Huawei’s first three-fold screen will debut in September. The leak complements earlier claims for the former, saying that it will launch after the debut of the Nova Mix Flip. Meanwhile, the trifold phone is reportedly now in production, following several leaks showing a Huawei exec using the device in the wild. According to DCS, the trifold phone will join the Huawei Mate series.

- A user from Reddit shared that Honor will introduce the MagicOS update to its Honor x7a model in September. The news was confirmed by the brand’s customer service following several MagicOS updates the company has made to its various devices.
- The Realme P2 Pro should soon debut in India. It will be offered in four configuration options: 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB. According to a leak, it will be available in Chameleon Green and Eagle Grey colors.
