Xiaomi 12 Ultra Model Number
The model number of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be 2206122SC. So it will be L2S. The L2 model number belonged to the Xiaomi 12 Pro. L2S belongs to Xiaomi 12 Ultra, a top model of Xiaomi 12 Pro. Back in 2020, the model number J1 (M2001J1C) belonged to the Mi 10 Pro. The model number of J1S (M2007J1SC), which came out 6 months after the Mi 10 Pro, belonged to the Mi 10 Ultra. For this reason, the market name of the device with model number L2S will be Xiaomi 12 Ultra.
Xiaomi 12 Ultra Expected Specifications
Although Xiaomi kept the technical features of the Ultra series the almost same as the Pro version of that series. Mi 10 Pro and Mi 10 Ultra display specifications were “almost” the same. Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra display specifications and general camera features were the same. Since the specifications of these devices are basically the same, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra may also have basically similar features. We do not have any leaks regarding the camera. According to the information we have received, the rear camera of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will definitely not have Oreo Design. Xiaomi 12 Ultra will have triple camera setup as Mi 11 Ultra, Xiaomi 12 Pro and MIX 5 series. We hope they use triple Sony IMX sensors instead of using the Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor.
Xiaomi 12 Ultra Release Date
Xiaomi 12 Ultra model number starts with 2206. This corresponds to the date of June 2022. The Mi 10 Ultra model number started with 2007 and was introduced in August 2020. So Ultra devices are launching one month later. Like the MIX 4 on the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, or like the Mi 10 Ultra, Xiaomi 12 Ultra could be introduced in July or August.
