Exec reveals Xiaomi 15S Pro design

Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing shared the official design of the upcoming Xiaomi 15S Pro in a recent clip.

The Xiaomi 15S Pro will launch on May 22 in China. After earlier teasing the phone through its retail box, Lu Weibing has stepped in to unveil the model’s actual look.

According to the executive’s clip, the Xiaomi 15S Pro still has the same general design employed in the original Xiaomi 15 Pro model. However, the new phone will come in a Dragon Scale Fiber variant. The Xiaomi 15S Pro also has the Xring branding on its flash unit island, which sits vertically beside the square camera module.

The Xiaomi 15S Pro will be launched alongside the Pad 7 Ultra at a major event in China. Both devices are expected to be the brand’s first creations to use its own in-house 3nm Xring O1 chipset. The SoC is reportedly a good match against Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. According to earlier reports, the chip is equipped with 1x Cortex-X925 (3.2GHz), 3x Cortex-A725 (2.6GHz), and 4x Cortex-A520 (2.0GHz).

According to rumors, the Xiaomi 15S Pro could adopt some of the said model’s features. It could offer a 6.73″ curved 2K 120Hz display, a 50MP main camera, a periscope telephoto unit, a 6100mAh battery, and 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.
