Oppo officials confirm IPX6/X8/X9 support, improved crease in Find N5 as new live images surface

More details about the upcoming Oppo Find N5 have arrived, including its display and protection details and latest live images.

Oppo Chief Product Officer Pete Lau confirmed days ago that the Find N5 would debut in China next month. The brand is also now relentless in teasing the foldable. After comparing the phones to various objects like sticky notes, coins, and cards, an Oppo Find N product manager (@程小雪NN) has shared on Weibo now a new image showing an extremely thin Fin N5 next to an iPhone device.

Similarly, a live image of the Find N5 has leaked, showing it next to the Find N3. Based on the side-by-side comparison, the upcoming phone will still have the same circular camera island design on its back. However, the lens and flash arrangement will be different this time, with the flash now included inside the module.

The manager also suggested that the Find N5 will have a better crease on its display, meaning it should now be more unnoticeable.

Meanwhile, Oppo’s Zhou Yibao also confirmed the foldable’s protection support, saying that it “should be the only folding flagship on the market that supports IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 full-level waterproofing.”
