Official reveals Oppo Find N5’s wireless charging, front display with thin bezels

An Oppo official has shared a new clip confirming that the Oppo Find N5 has wireless charging support and an external display with thin bezels.

The Oppo Find N5 is set to arrive next month, explaining the brand’s non-stop teases about it. In its recent tease, Oppo Find Series Product Manager Zhou Yibao posted new clips on Weibo revealing the phone’s high protection rating, noting that it “should be the only folding flagship on the market that supports IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 full-level waterproofing.”

The other clip, on the other hand, confirms that the foldable has wireless charging support. This is a huge upgrade over the Find N3, which lacks the said capability. The official underscored that wireless charging features usually require devices to be thick. However, Zhou Yibao claimed that this wouldn’t be the case in Find N5, adding that it would be the thinnest foldable in its debut.

The clip also shows the Oppo Find N5’s front display, which has a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Nonetheless, the main highlight of the clip is its thin bezels, which make the display incredibly wide and spacious.

In related news, the Oppo Find N5 visited Geekbench with the 7-core version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite. According to the listing, the phone also used Android 15 and 16GB RAM in the test, allowing it to secure 3,083 and 8,865 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
