Oppo has reached another milestone for its Find X7 Ultra after it received two impressive labels from the independent smartphone camera benchmark website DXOMARK.
The news follows the Oppo Find X7 Ultra’s earlier success after it topped the DXOMARK global smartphone camera ranking in March. According to the test, the model reached the highest scores in its portrait/group, indoor, and lowlight tests in the said month, noting that the Find X7 Ultra has a “good color rendering and white balance in photo and video” and an “excellent bokeh effect with good subject isolation and high levels of detail.” DxOMark also applauded the Ultra model’s detail delivery at medium and long-range tele and the texture/noise trade-off in lowlight situations. Ultimately, the firm claimed that the smartphone showed “accurate exposure and wide dynamic range” when used on portraits and landscape shots.
However, these are surprisingly not the only things about the Find X7 Ultra that impressed DXOMARK. Days ago, the review website revealed that the handset also passed some of its test thresholds, earning it the Gold Display and Eye Comfort Display labels.
According to the website, certain standards are set for the said labels, and the Find X7 Ultra passed and exceeded them. For the Eye Comfort Display, a smartphone should be able to tick the flicker amount perception limit (standard: below 50% / Find X7 Ultra: 10%), minimum brightness requirement (standard: 2 nits / Find X7 Ultra: 1.57 nits), circadian action factor limit (standard: below 0.65 / Find X7 Ultra: 0.63), and color consistency standards (standard: 95% / Find X7 Ultra: 99%).
These performances are all possible through the Find X7 Ultra’s LTPO AMOLED panel, which has a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels (QHD+), a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. It also supports other features that further aid its display performance, including Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG.
