Some interesting rumors about the Oppo Find X8 series have emerged online recently, thanks to the thread conversation of leakers online.
The series is expected to debut in October. However, it seems Oppo will not unveil all the models of the lineup in that month all at once, as leaker Digital Chat Station claimed that the Find X8 Ultra will be launched in a different month and year. Specifically, the leaker shared that the Ultra variant of the line will be announced “next year,” 2025.
According to the tipster, the Ultra variant will be the “strongest imaging flagship” from Oppo. As per the account, the handheld comes with some photo optimization capabilities, alongside other details like dual periscope and high-magnification telephoto AI enhancement.
The tipster didn’t share the same details about the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro, but it is rumored that the two will get glass backs. In front, on the other hand, the two are believed to take separate paths. According to DCS, one of the models will get a flat display, while the other one will be armed with a 2.7D quad-curved screen. Needless to say, the latter could be the Pro variant, while the standard model will have a flat screen.
These details add to earlier rumors about the lineup, with the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro believed to be getting the Dimensity 9400 chip. The Ultra model, meanwhile, is reportedly employing the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. In the power department, the three models are rumored to get a huge 6000mAh battery.
