The first Dimensity 9400 models will be Vivo X200, X200 Pro

Tipster Digital Chat Station shared that Vivo’s X200 and X200 Pro models will be the first smartphones to be powered by the upcoming Dimensity 9400 chip.

The news came ahead of the expected debut timeline of the chip, which is expected to challenge Qualcomm’s anticipated Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. According to DCS, the Dimensity 9400 has the designated MT6991 model number and employs TSMC’s second-gen N3 process. The tipster also added that it comes with 1 x Cortex-X5 super core, 3 x Cortex-X4 cores, and 4 x Cortex-A7 cores. As per reports, the SoC could be unveiled in October.

Now, the tipster said that Vivo’s creations—the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro—will be the first to employ the Dimensity 9400 chip.

This echoes DCS’ earlier claim about the X200 and X200 Pro models, noting that the Oppo Find X8 will also use the Dimensity 9400. According to the account, the two phones will be launched alongside the Find X8 and the Xiaomi 15, which will be the first to use Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, in October.

Sadly, no other details about the X200 and X200 Pro are known. Yet, given that both are expected to use one of the industry’s upcoming powerful chips soon, they will likely be armed with some interesting features.
