A new leak has specified a new possible launch date for the upcoming Google Pixel 10 series. A live unit of the Pro model has also emerged online.
The news follows an earlier leak saying that the lineup would be unveiled on August 13. However, folks from Android Headlines have now suggested that the launch will be pushed a week later. According to the report, the new Pixel series would be announced at the Made by Google event, meaning the search giant could ship the phones on August 28.
The arrival of Google’s new phones is not a surprise since the company was recently spotted filming ad material for the series. According to the leaked clip, the Google Pixel 10 series will adopt the looks of its predecessor, the Pixel 9. That includes the protruding pill-shaped camera island on the upper section of the back panel.
According to rumors, the Pro and Ultra models will be equipped with the new custom Tensor G5 chip. While the phones allegedly retain the same camera hardware as their predecessors, the improved Image Signal Processor (ISP) of the series is believed to offer better camera performance.
Meanwhile, a live prototype unit of the Piel 10 Pro model has recently emerged online. As expected, the phone boasts the same horizontal pill-shaped camera island on the upper section of its back panel. It has a flat design and is available in a gray colorway.
In addition to its design, the image leak confirms other details of the phone, including its Tensor G5 chipset, 16GB/256GB configuration (other options are expected), and Android 16 OS.
