New images showing the display and the camera island design of the Honor GT Pro have been circulating online.
We are still waiting for the official announcement about the launch date of the Honor GT Pro, but we expect it to be unveiled soon. That’s because of the teasers Honor is already making online. The latest one features the phone’s design.
According to an Honor GT series product manager (@汤达人TF) on Weibo, the Honor GT Pro will still have the classic GT design. The account shared a partial peek at the phone’s camera island, supporting this claim. The image also shows that the phone’s back panel is matte black, though we expect more colorways for the device.
In another image, we see the flat display of the Honor GT Pro, which also sports bezels equally thin on all four sides. It also has a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
Another Honor GT series product manager (@杜雨泽 Charlie) noted that the Honor GT Pro is positioned two levels higher than its standard sibling. When asked why it is called Honor GT Pro and not Ultra if it is really “two levels higher than” the Honor GT, the official underscored that there is no Ultra in the lineup and that the Honor GT Pro is the series’ Ultra. This dismissed earlier rumors about the possibility of the lineup featuring an Ultra variant.
