Honor GT Pro leak: SD 8 Elite, 1.5K display, 50MP camera, 100W charging, ultrasonic fingerprint, more

A new leak has revealed more details about the upcoming Honor GT Pro model.

The Honor GT Pro will join the current Honor GT model in China, which offers a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. This should give fans a better option in the lineup, with the Pro model reportedly armed with the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.

Aside from the chip, tipster Digital Chat Station claims that the Honor GT Pro will house a battery with a capacity starting at 6000mAh. This will be a huge difference from the 5300mAh battery the vanilla Honor GT is offering. As per DCS, it will be complemented by a 100W wired charging capability.

In front, the phone could boast a 6.78″ flat 1.5K display with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. However, DCS noted that the sensor is still “pending,” so changes could happen. On the back, on the other, the Honor GT Pro reportedly sports a 50MP main camera. To compare, the current Honor GT phone offers the following:

  • Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
  • 12GB/256GB (CN¥2199), 16GB/256GB (CN¥2399), 12GB/512GB (CN¥2599), 16GB/512GB (CN¥2899), and 16GB/1TB (CN¥3299)
  • 6.7” FHD+ 120Hz OLED with up to 4000nits peak brightness
  • Sony IMX906 main camera + 8MP secondary camera
  • 16MP selfie camera
  • 5300mAh battery
