Honor Magic V4 specs leak: 9mm thickness, 8” 120Hz 2K display, 200MP 3x periscope, IPX8, more

Reputable leaker Digital Chat Station has shared several details of the rumored Honor Magic V4 foldable model.

The Honor Magic V3 no longer has the title for the thinnest foldable in the market after the Oppo Find N5 snathed it. Nonetheless, Honor is reportedly working on creating another foldable that will at least match the said Oppo phone in terms of thickness. According to DCS, the brand’s upcoming  Magic V4 model will shrink to “less than 9mm.”

Aside from its thickness, the tipster shared the other sections of the phone. According to the account, the Honor Magic V4 will offer the following:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite
  • 8″± 2K+ 120Hz foldable LTPO display
  • 6.45″± 120Hz LTPO external display
  • 50MP 1/1.5″ main camera
  • 200MP 1/1.4″ periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom
  • Wireless charging
  • Side-mounted fingerprint scanner
  • IPX8 rating
  • Satellite communication feature

According to an earlier leak, the Magic V4 could arrive at the end of May or early June. It was also claimed that the phone would have a bigger battery with around 6000mAh capacity. This is a huge upgrade from the 5150mAh battery in the Magic V3. Yet, a tipster shared that it would remain “thin and light,”
