How Do I Delete Mi Accounts
Xiaomi’s own custom Android skin MIUI has certain features like iOS systems that allow you to text over internet, backup contacts, photos and so on. These features require a Mi Account to function so if you are deleting yours and you are still planning to stay on MIUI, you will be missing out a lot if you do not have another account to log in.
Before proceeding any further, you should be aware of two things:
- This process will delete all your saved up data.
- You will need access to your phone number or e-mail address bound to the account in order to delete Mi Accounts
- If you do not log out of Find My Device feature on all bound devices before deleting your account, you won’t be able to use it on another account
First go into this link and sign into your account. Once you are signed in, you will see a prompt screen like above. Click “I’m fully aware of the consequences…” button.
Check the box that says “Yes, I want to permanently delete my Mi Account and all its data” and click on “Delete Mi Account” button. It may redirect you to account verification after this screen and once you have verified it, your account will be permanently deleted.
