Forward Your Home Phone to a Smartphone
If you are intimidated by the process, do not be! It is fairly easy to forward your home phone to a smartphone and you do not need to contact anyone for help to make it happen. One great thing that comes with it is that you can answer your calls on the run, without having to be home. In order to forward your home phone to a smartphone, all you need to do is:
- On your home phone, dial star seven two (*72) and wait for a dial tone.
- Enter in the 10-digit number of the smartphone that you wish to forward your home phone calls to.
- Hit the pound button (#) or wait for a response confirming that call forwarding feature on your landline has been activated. and end the call.
- Repeat the first 3 steps if you’re unsure that this action was done successfully.
If you wish to disable call forwarding feature on the landline, simply hit star seven three (*73). Certain phone carriers may use different code combinations for forwarding and disabling forwarding calls. You can view some of the combinations down below or consult with your carrier’s website to figure out what combination your home phone uses.

- To enable, dial **21* and enter your smartphone number then press #
To disable, dial ##21#
- To enable, dial **21* and enter your smartphone number then press #
- Verizon
- To enable, dial *72 and enter your smartphone number
To disable, dial *73
- To enable, dial *72 and enter your smartphone number
- Sprint
- To enable, dial *72 and enter your smartphone number
To disable, dial *720
- To enable, dial *72 and enter your smartphone number
- AT&T
- To enable, dial **21*, and enter your smartphone number then press #. For instance, **21*1235556789# will forward your calls to 123.555.6789.
To disable, dial #21#.
- To enable, dial **21*, and enter your smartphone number then press #. For instance, **21*1235556789# will forward your calls to 123.555.6789.
- FIDO
- To enable, dial *21*[10 digits]#
To disable, dial ##21#
- To enable, dial *21*[10 digits]#
- ROGERS
- To enable, dial *21*(phone number)#, from your home phone.
