Huawei executives confirmed that the Huawei Mate XT comes with a one-year free screen replacement.
The trifold model was launched in the global market recently after Huawei unveiled it at an event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. While it is undeniable that it is indeed a luxurious device, it has a huge downside in terms of its display. This is noticeable in the exposed section of its display near one of its hinges.
To address possible concerns about breakage, Huawei executives confirmed that the brand would offer a free one-year screen replacement for Mate Xt regardless of the damage reasons.
This should be a relief for interested buyers, who would spend €3,499 for the first trifold smartphone in the market. The trifold sports a spacious 10.2″ 3K foldable main display, giving it a tablet-like appearance when unfolded. In front, on the other hand, there’s a 7.9″ cover display, so users can still use it like a regular smartphone when folded. It can also work like a regular foldable with two sections for the display, depending on how the user would fold it.
