The Huawei Mate 70 series is expected to launch in the fourth quarter of the year. Ahead of the timeline, a new leak has surfaced, revealing the configuration price tags of the models.
The lineup is said to include the vanilla Huawei Mate 70 model, the Mate 70 Pro, Mate 70 Pro+, and the Mste 70 RS Ultimate. The company still hasn’t confirmed the details of the phones, but a leak has already revealed some possible configurations of the four.
In some photos shared online, the alleged Huawei Mate 70 series models can be seen fresh from their retail boxes. The leak indicates the configuration for each model, but since the Mate 60 series was launched with various configuration options, so we expect the same for its successor.
According to the leak, the configurations of the Huawei Mate 70 series models are as follows:
- Mate 70: 12GB/256GB (CN¥5999)
- Mate 70 Pro: 12GB/256GB (CN¥6999)
- Mate 70 Pro+: 16GB/512GB (CN¥8999)
- Mate 70 RS Ultimate: 16GB/512GB (CN¥10999)
The leak also shows the devices’ back designs, albeit they are still wrapped in paper. Despite that, the phones’ designs can be partially recognized, and they seem to retain the same circular camera island of the Mate 60 series. The Mate 70 RS Ultimate, nonetheless, comes with an octagonal module, which its predecessor also has.
While the news might sound interesting to fans planning to upgrade to Mate 70, we, of course, still encourage our readers to take this with a pinch of salt. As the lineup’s debut timeline nears, we should be able to confirm these details.
