Huawei Mate X7 display, cam details revealed

A new leak shares some of the details of the upcoming Huawei Mate X7 model.

The Huawei Mate X6 is now available globally, following its debut in China. The phone comes in a single 12GB/512GB configuration for the global market, where it costs €1,999.

The Chinese giant is expected to introduce its successor in the coming months. Despite the company’s silence, Digital Chat Station shared some of the first leaks of the foldable. 

According to DCS, the upcoming Mate model will sport a 7.95 “± 2K COE LTPO+ internal display. The company is also testing its camera, including 50MP 1/1.56″ and 50MP 1/1.3” lenses with variable apertures for the main camera. The system also reportedly has a 50MP periscope telephoto macro and a multi-spectral camera. It is also said to be using Huawei’s new generation chip, the Kirin 9030 SoC.

Ultimately, the Huawei Mate X7 reportedly features a high waterproof protection rating and will be “ultra-light.” To compare, the Mate X6 has an IPX8 rating and weighs 239g.
