Huawei Mate XT Ultimate trifold launching globally on Feb. 18

Huawei has confirmed that it will present the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate to the global market on February 18.

The Chinese giant shared the news in a recent clip, noting that it will happen at an “Innovative Product Launch” event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The news follows earlier reports about the trifold making an international launch. Recently, it was affirmed by its TDRA certification from the UAE.

The price tag and specifications of the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate in the global markets remain unavailable. Yet, fans can expect that it won’t be cheap ($2,800 starting price) and will offer most of the same specs its Chinese counterpart is offering. To recall, the foldable launched in China with the following details:

  • 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB configurations
  • 10.2″ LTPO OLED trifold main screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 3,184 x 2,232px resolution
