After its release in April, Huawei Pura 70 is now about to hit its 2 million unit sales mark.
That’s according to the figure shared by tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, claiming that the series has already sold over 1,670,000 units from all its four models.
The lineup includes the Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro, Pura 70 Pro+, and Pura 70 Ultra models. Now, according to currently available figures, the models have already sold over 1 million, 70,000, 400,000, and 200,000 units, respectively.
The news follows the earlier milestones for Huawei, which is making a resurgence in China and the global smartphone market. According to recent reports, the Chinese giant has surpassed Samsung in the foldable smartphone global market during the first quarter of the year. During the same period, the brand also dominated China’s smartphone market with a 17% share, making its name more prominent in the country.
As one of the biggest markets globally, this means bad news for Huawei’s competitors, especially Apple, which was forced to offer discounts on its iPhone 15 series in China. Now, it seems the business will continuously be challenging for the Cupertino company in China, with research predictions claiming that Huawei will sell a total of 60 million Pura 70 units sales in 2024.
