Huawei has finally unveiled the Huawei Pura 80 series, which includes the vanilla Huawei Pura 80, Huawei Pura 80 Pro, Huawei Pura 80 Pro+, and Huawei Pura 80 Ultra.
The Chinese giant announced the four models in its domestic market today. The lineup features a handful of improvements in various sections, including their cameras, batteries, and chips (though Huawei remains mum about this part).
The main highlight of the series, nonetheless, is the Ultra model with new switchable telephoto lenses. Specifically, it has a 1/1.2″ periscope telephoto sensor that is shared by two lenses, thanks to Huawei’s moving mechanism technology. This saves the phone some extra internal space while providing 3.7x and 9.4x optical zoom for the two lenses.
