A Huawei executive was recently spotted using an unreleased device, which could be the much-awaited Huawei Pura 80 Ultra.
Huawei will update the Pura series this year with the Pura 80 lineup. Amid the wait, various leaks involving the series have been surfacing online, including its component material and prototype unit test. This time, however, it seems we have finally spotted an actual Huawei Pura 80 Ultra model.

Two weeks ago, Huawei’s He Gang was spotted using the alleged Huawei Pura 80 Ultra with a huge triangular camera island. Now, the same executive was spotted at an EV event using the same device with the same look. The Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO was photographed using the phone, which sports huge lens cutouts, signifying its powerful camera system. Compared to the Pura 70 Ultra, the rumored handheld’s camera island and lenses appear much bigger.

The news follows several leaks about the model’s camera system. According to earlier leaks, the Pura 80 Ultra has multiple lenses, including a periscope telephoto and a Red Maple lens unit. Huawei’s self-developed lenses, SC5A0CS and SC590XS, both use the RYYB tech and 50MP resolution and are expected to be used on the phone. The device is allegedly armed with a 50MP 1″ main camera paired with a 50MP ultrawide unit and a large periscope with a 1/1.3″ sensor. The system also allegedly implements a variable aperture for the main camera.
