Infinix integrated DeepSeek R1 into the Folax voice assistant of the Note 50 series, and we’ll hear more about it this week.
The brand announced days ago that the Infinix Note 50 series will be unveiled on March 3. While the company remains mum about the specifics of the series, it is expected to offer multiple handhelds since the Note 40 series has seven models.
Aside from the new module design and a purple colorway in the series, the teaser confirms that the series has AI. Initially, we thought that it was just some typical AI capabilities, but a new report says that the lineup will actually offer a DeepSeek R1-powered Folax voice assistant.
In a clip shared by the brand, the huge improvement in the personal assistant’s command and query processing is highlighted. With the DeepSeek R1 integration, Folax appears to be more efficient in understanding requests through voice requests.
The company is expected to provide more details about this AI integration on Wednesday, February 26. Hopefully, this will also include more information about the Infinix Note 50 series models and their features.
