iQOO 13 to get Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, 1.5K OLED 8T LTPO screen

The iQOO 13 will be a powerful series, and it will be evident even on the base model of the lineup. According to the latest claim from a leaker, the device will be armed with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, and a 1.5K OLED 8T LTPO screen.

The iQOO 13 is expected to be launched this year. However, ahead of the brand’s official announcement of the lineup’s launch date, leaker account Digital Chat Station has already divulged some of the key details of the series’ vanilla model.

According to the tipster, the device will use an OLED 8T LTPO panel for its display, which will have a 1.5K resolution consisting of 2800 x 1260 pixels. According to DCS, the screen of the iQOO 13 will be flat. As per other reports, on the other hand, the iQOO 13 Pro will have a curved screen, albeit the specifics of the display remain unknown.

DCS also claimed that the vanilla model would get 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. This is expected to be one of the plethora of options that will be offered in the release of the device, as its predecessor also has the same 16GB/1TB configuration.

The account also reiterated earlier claims about the chip of the model, which is expected to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. The SoC is reportedly debuting in October, and the Xiaomi 15 is said to be the first series to be announced armed with the said component. According to DCS, the chip has a 2+6 core architecture, with the first two cores expected to be high-performance cores clocked at 3.6 GHz to 4.0 GHz. Meanwhile, the six cores are likely the efficiency cores.
