The Vivo X Fold 5 is now official in China, and it brings new specs that beat its competitors.
The Vivo smartphone comes with the still-impressive Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, which works alongside LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It also houses a huge 6000mAh battery, which is the biggest in the foldable market. According to Vivo, it also has a stronger third layer of protection, allowing it to survive a -20°C setting longer than the Vivo X Fold 3.

The Vivo X Fold 5 also impresses in the camera department, thanks to its 50MP 1/1.56″ Sony IMX921 main camera with OIS, a 50MP 1/1.95″ Sony IMX882 periscope with OIS and 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide.
The new foldable is still in China. However, like its predecessor, it could soon be announced in other markets globally, including India and Indonesia.
