A tipster in China suggests that Honor could introduce models with XXL batteries with capacities of more than 8000mAh.
Smartphone companies in China have recently been heavily focusing on new battery technologies. Honor is the latest to introduce a model with a gigantic battery: the 7.76mm-thick Honor X70 with an 8300mAh cell.
While this should already impress fans, tipster Digital Chat Station shared that Honor is still working to introduce bigger batteries to its future smartphones.
According to the account, Honor plans to offer future flagship models with a capacity of around 7000mAh, while its mid-ranger models will house 8000mAh+ batteries.
Interestingly, DCS claimed that it is “not the end” for Honor’s plan involving its smartphones’ batteries. If true, this could mean we’ll soon welcome more models with higher power capacities, more than the X70’s 8300mAh pack.
