That’s according to the latest claims from well-known leaker Yogesh Brar on X. In the post, the tipster claimed that there would be a “Qualcomm-powered OnePlus Nord lineup for 2024,” revealing the chips that will be housed inside the models. Brar mentioned the OnePlus Nord CE 4, which was launched in India with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. However, the leaker also talked about the yet-to-be-launched Nord 4 and Nord CE4 Lite models.

According to Brar, unlike the Nord CE 4, the Nord 4 and Nord 4 CE4 will use the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chips, respectively.

The claim about Nord 4 reflects earlier reports about it, wherein leakers believe that it would just be a rebranded OnePlus Ace 3V. To recall, the Ace 3V is also powered by a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor, ultimately supporting Brar’s claim. If true, the Nord 4 should also adopt other details of the Ace 3V, including its 5,500mAh battery, 100W fast charging, 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage configuration, IP65 rating, 6.7” OLED flat display, and 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor.

Meanwhile, the Nord 4 CE4 Lite is expected to debut in the North American market under the Nord N40 moniker. It will be a budget 5G smartphone, which should offer a great improvement over the Snapdragon 695-powered Nord CE 3 Lite. Unfortunately, other details about the model remain unknown.

Reno 12 is expected to launch in June. Ahead of the event, different leaks about the model have already been surfacing across the web. The latest includes the render of the handset, which was shared by a leaker on the Chinese platform Weibo.

Based on the image shared, the phone will be offered in a green color option, with its back panel offering minimal curves on all four edges. The camera island, on the other hand, will still be placed in the upper left section of the back. However, unlike the Oppo Reno 11, the Reno 12’s camera module will be rectangular, which will be placed vertically. It will house its three rumored camera lenses and the flash unit.

According to earlier reports, there will be two models in the series: the Reno 12 and the Reno 12 Pro. The main camera system of the Oppo Reno 12 Pro is reportedly getting a huge difference from what the current model already has. According to reports, unlike the 50MP wide, 32MP telephoto, and 8MP ultrawide of the earlier model, the upcoming device will boast a 50MP primary and a 50MP portrait sensor with 2x optical zoom. Meanwhile, the selfie camera is expected to be 50MP (versus the 32MP in Oppo Reno 11 Pro 5G).

• According to Tipster Digital Chat Station, Pro’s display is 6.7 inches with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
• As per the latest claims, the Pro will be powered with a 5,000mAh battery, which will be supported by 80W charging. This should be an upgrade from the previous reports saying Oppo Reno 12 Pro would only be equipped with a lower 67W charging capability. Moreover, it is a huge difference from the 4,600mAh battery of Oppo Reno 11 Pro 5G.
• According to a separate report, the Pro will be armed with 12GB RAM and will offer storage options of up to 256GB.
• Both the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro will have AI capabilities.
• A tipster from Weibo claims that the Dimensity Dimensity 8300 and 9200 Plus chips will be used in the two models of the lineup. To recall, the standard Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro models were given the Dimensity 8200 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chips. With this, the Reno 12 will likely get the Dimensity 8300, while the Reno 12 Pro will receive the Dimensity 9200 Plus chip.

Google plans to stay true to its words about its promised 7 years of software support for its next Google Pixel devices. According to the leaked ad material (via Android Headlines) of the company, this will arrive in Pixel 8a as well.

The ads contain several details about the upcoming Google Pixel 8a, confirming earlier reports about it. It includes the Google Tensor G3 chip, 18W wired charging, and an IP67 rating. The material also mentions some features of the model, such as the system (Call Assist, Clear Calling, VPN by Google One), AI (Circle to Search and email summarization), photo (Best Take and Night Sight), and video features (Audio Magic Eraser). The main highlight of the material, however, is the 7-year-long software support for the device. This gives the Pixel 8a a product life as long as its other siblings in the series, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.

The news, however, is not entirely surprising as Google already revealed the plan to introduce 7-year-long security updates when it introduced the Pixel 8. According to the company, it is the right thing to do based on its observations in the earlier generation smartphones it offered in the past.

Google Vice President of Devices and Services Seang Chau explained how the company came up with the decision. As Chau shared, some points contributed to this, including its switch to year-round beta programs and Quarterly Platform Releases, collaboration with its Android team, and more. Nonetheless, of all these things, the executive pointed out that it all started with the company’s observation of the devices that are still active despite being sold years ago.

“So when we look at the trajectory of where the original Pixel that we launched in 2016 landed and how many people were still using the first Pixel, we saw that actually, there’s quite a good active user base until probably about the seven-year mark,” Chau explained. “So if we think about, okay, we want to be able to support Pixel for as long as people are using the device, then seven years is about that right number.”

The Vivo X100s, X100s Pro, and X100s Ultra are expected to launch in May. Ahead of the debut, however, some photos of Vivo X100s have already surfaced.

The photos (via GSMArena) reveal the back and side sections of the model, confirming the earlier reports that the phone will employ flat designs this time. This will be a departure from the curvy designs of the X100, with the Vivo X100 sporting flat frames and display edges. In the back, however, its glass panel sports slightly curved edges.

This change should improve the thinness of the model. Based on the images shared, the X100s will indeed showcase a thin body. Per earlier reports, it will only measure 7.89mm, making it thinner than the 8.3 mm-thick iPhone 15 Pro.

The images also reveal that the frame will have a textured finish. The unit in the photos features a titanium color, confirming earlier reports about the color option. Aside from this, it is expected to be offered in white, black, and cyan options.

Ultimately, the images show the huge circular rear camera island inside a metal ring. It houses the camera units, which are rumored to be a 50MP f/1.6 main lens alongside a 15mm ultrawide and a 70mm periscope.According to other leaks, the Vivo X100s model will also offer MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC, optical in-display fingerprint sensor, flat OLED FHD+, 5,000mAh battery and 100/120W wired fast charging, “ultra-narrow” bezels, 16GB RAM option, and more.

The model has the XT2453-1 model number, which shares some similarities with the XT2321-1 model number of last year’s Razr 40 Ultra. To recall, the device was also spotted around the same time in 2023, strengthening assumptions that the new device on BIS could be the new Razr phone.

No other details were shared in the listing, but it is rumored that it could receive improvement in various departments, from its processor to battery and display.

The release of the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra in India is part of the brand’s plan to reach the top of the smartphone market in the country. The first area to be tapped will be the display, which will be a TCL C8 OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution. According to the tipster, it will be complemented by a metal middle frame and a glass back. The account added that there will be an “upgrade” in this department.

Inside, the K70 Ultra should house a 5500mAh battery alongside a Dimensity 9300 Plus SoC. Xiaomi Mix Flip remains one of the mysterious upcoming smartphones. Despite rumors about it starting years ago, information about it remains scarce. However, DCS finally ended the dry spell about the flip phone, claiming that it would offer users some interesting features and hardware.

On the Chinese platform Weibo, the tipster shared that the upcoming smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, affirming expectations that Mix Flip will be a powerful handheld. Complementing this performance is reportedly a 4,800mAh/4,900mAh battery. This follows the leaker’s earlier post, saying it will be armed with a “large” battery.

On the other hand, DCS claimed that the Mix Flip would have a “full-size screen” for its second display, indicating that it would be able to offer the same external screen size as its competitors, like the Galaxy Z Flip5.

For its rear cameras, the tipster said that there would be “dual holes,” which means that it would have a dual-camera setup (one unit is expected to be a telephoto). Meanwhile, for its main display, the claim shares that the phone will have narrow bezels, with its selfie camera placed in a punch-hole notch.

Ultimately, DCS underscored that Mix Flip will be a “light machine.” This could mean that the handheld will be thin, making it comfortable in the hands even when folded.

Sadly, as earlier reported, Xiaomi decided not to push the satellite communication feature in Mix Flip and MIX Fold4. The reason behind the move is unknown.

The news came amid the uncertainty of the series’ debut timeline, especially after a report claiming that the launch date was pushed back for unknown reasons. Later, it was reported that it would be in April or May, with rumors claiming Huawei will start pre-sale of the series on March 23. The latter, however, was denied by Huawei.

Now, according to the latest claims, the P70, P70 Pro, and P70 Art will all launch next month, in April. If true, nonetheless, the series is expected to have to present the following features in the unveiling event:

According to a separate report, Huawei is now receiving parts from its suppliers for the series. An insider told China Securities Journal that the company is optimistic about its shipping goal.

“Our gross profit margin for supplying Huawei has increased, which is beneficial for the company,” the insider shared.

The leak confirms the device with the 24069RA21C model number will receive the said capability, suggesting that the company is now preparing it for launch. It will be the successor of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which was launched in March 2023. The capability is good news as the earlier model only has 67W charging.

The news follows earlier reports about the Redmi Note 13 Turbo getting a 1.5K OLED display and a 5000mAh battery, allowing it to provide decent power for a whole day. This is reportedly complemented by the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, which should further help in battery consumption and power management.

The phone is expected to be launched under the Poco F6 monicker globally, with the Redmi Note 13 Turbo branding believed to be staying in the Chinese market only. The date for its international unveiling is still unknown, but it should follow soon after the Redmi Note 13 Turbo is officially announced in China in April.
