The release of the stable HarmonyOS 4.2 update has already started, and it is heading to 21 Huawei devices, including the Mate 60 series and Pocket 2.
The brand has already confirmed the move but noted that the rollout will be performed in batches. The update is expected to enhance various sections of the system and bring some new features. Some of the things users could expect include improved security, better system performance, and some new user interface details. To recall, the HarmonyOS 4.2 comes pre-installed in the recently launched Pura 70 series.
The HarmonyOS 4.2 will be distributed to various Huawei devices, including smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, and wearables. The company said, however, that the Nova 12 series, P60 models, Mate 50, and other devices will get the update by mid-May.
