Next year, we might soon welcome a smartphone model with a 10000mAh± battery with an 8.5mm thickness.
That’s according to the well-known leaker Digital Chat Station, who shared that a Chinese brand could start testing the device and that it could be released in the first half of 2026. Interestingly, the phone is said to be decently thin despite its gigantic cell inside.
While the name of the brand was not mentioned, it can be recalled that Realme confirmed in May that its Realme GT 7 10000mAh concept phone would be put into mass production. It is unknown, however, if the phone would actually be based on GT 7 and would be named something else.
The news came amid the growing interest of smartphone manufacturers in introducing gigantic cells into their future models. According to a recent leak, Honor is also planning to launch phones with more than 8000mAh battery capacities.
