Xiaomi devices started to get MIUI 12.5 with Android 12. Here are the differences between MIUI 12.5 Android 12 and Android 11!
New MIUI versions are made in accordance with the latest Android version. Some features are not available in the previous Android version. There are also features that come with MIUI 12.5 Android 12 but not Android 11. These features are not that important or big features. So the difference between MIUI using Android 11 and Android 12 will not be that big. Here are those features!
MIUI 12.5 / MIUI 13 One Handed Mode
The single-handed mode, which existed in previous MIUI versions, became unusable with MIUI 8. The new one-handed mode that came with Android 12 has been added to MIUI again. When we pull down the bar below, the screen goes down halfway and it becomes easier for us to use it with one hand.
MIUI 12.5 / MIUI 13 Extra Dim Feature
A feature similar to the Dark Mode 2.0 feature added to MIUI 12 in the past. Google was added it to Android 12. Now this feature has been added back from Google to MIUI and it works more smoothly. Working in harmony with the Android system will eliminate the problem of adding a black filter on the screen when we take a screenshot beforehand.
MIUI 12.5 / MIUI 13 New Splash Animation
The new splash animation added with Android 12 and it’s now added to MIUI 12.5. When we open the application, it provides a more optimized animation. In addition, the expected time when the application is opened can be passed quickly with the logo animation. It is possible to see animated splash screen in supported applications.
MIUI 12.5 / MIUI 13 New Contact Widget
The new contact widget added with Android 12 AOSP and now it also added to MIUI 12.5 Android 12 version. We can add each conversation as a widget and provide a faster communication.
MIUI 12.5 / MIUI 13 New Notifications Improvements
The icon in the top left in new notifications has been changed. While there used to be an app icon, there are now photos of people involved in the conversation or group picture. Also, adaptive notifications has been made more compatible with MIUI.
Bold Statusbar Clock
The clock in the Statusbar is now bolder and tuned more conspicuously.
New date format
The date format has been shortened to save space and make it look simpler. Also, this feature provides more space for notifications and allows us to control more notifications.
