While trying to bring MIUI 13 to its released devices, Xiaomi is working hard for the upcoming Xiaomi 12 series. The information we found for the Xiaomi 12X (codename psyche) also proves this to us.
According to the information we found, Xiaomi 12X (psyche), which is from the Xiaomi 12 series, will come out of the box with Android 11-based MIUI 13. At the time of writing this article, the most recent test version for this device was V13.0.0.56.RLDCNXM.
Not only in China, Xiaomi 12 series will come with MIUI 13 also in the Global market. Xiaomi 12X’s latest stable internal beta build is V13.0.0.46.RLDMIXM. This means it will come with Android 11 based MIUI 13 out of the box

These devices will get MIUI 13 Stable with Android 12. We can’t access download link currently because these builds are for internal test team. If the version is V13.0.1.0, it has been compiled as a ready-to-release version.
MIUI 13 Feature Eligibility
As we saw in MIUI 12, MIUI 12.5 and older versions, all features were not available on Android versions below the target Android version. The target Android version for MIUI 12 is Android 10, the target Android version for MIUI 12.5 is Android 11, and the target Android version for MIUI 13 is Android 12.
