As the wait for the official debut of the Redmi K70 Ultra continues, more details about the model have been surfacing on the web.
The Redmi K70 Ultra is believed to be a rebranded Xiaomi 14T Pro. Based on past reports, the IMEI database Chinese version model numbers of the Xiaomi 14T Pro (2407FPN8EG for the international, 2407FPN8ER for Japanese, and 2407FRK8EC for the Chinese version) and Redmi K70 Ultra (2407FRK8EC) are highly similar. With this, it is unsurprising that the two have similar details, as shared in recent discoveries and leaks.
Most recently, a leaker on Weibo shared some key details about the Redmi K70 Ultra. According to the account, the model will indeed be armed with the Dimensity 9300+ chip, as mentioned in earlier reports.
The tipster also reiterated earlier rumors about the handheld’s display. As per the account’s post, the K70 Ultra will use a 1.5k display with a 144Hz refresh rate. According to separate claims, the K70 Ultra will get a dual-core independent display. This independent dual-core chip could be the same component found in the K60 Ultra, which has an X7 display chip. If true, it could mean that the handheld will be capable of native 144fps on certain games.
In the power department, it is believed that the phone will house a huge 5500mAh battery. This will be complemented by a 120W wired fast charging, the tipster claimed.
Ultimately, the leaker noted that the Redmi model will have a metal frame and glass back. This will reportedly be complemented by an IP68 rating for protection against dust and water.
