After an earlier report about the Vivo X200 Ultra‘s alleged Indian debut, a new rumor has revealed that the phone will not be offered outside China.
The Vivo X200 series will welcome its latest member soon, the Vivo X200 Ultra. The phone was initially expected to remain exclusive to the Chinese market, but a report this week revealed that the company is planning to also offer the Ultra phone in India alongside the Vivo X200 Pro Mini. To recall, the compact phone remains exclusive to China, but after the success of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro and Vivo X200 Pro in the country, the brand is now reportedly considering the Indian debut of the X200 Pro Mini and X200 Ultra.
However, a prolific leaker on X, Abhishek Yadav, now says that a Vivo team member has dismissed the Indian debut claims about the Ultra phone.
This is not a surprise since the Chinese brands always do this with most of their flagship models. Yet, given that this is an unofficial claim, we do hope things will still change and that Vivo will confirm X200 Ultra and X200 Pro Mini’s global debut.
