The company also revealed the phone’s latest design, which now boasts a different camera island shape.

The Realme GT 7 Pro will launch on November 4. Ahead of the date, the brand has been aggressively teasing several details of the phone, including its Camera Control-like button and display. Now, the company is back with more revealing information about its design.

In the clip shared by Realme, the Realme GT 7 Pro boasts an orange body, which will be called the Mars Design. The variant is inspired by the color of the planet, and the brand notes that it was achieved through multi-layered hot-forging AG technology to achieve that distinct design.

The color of the back panel is not the only highlight of the clip, as the Realme GT 7 Pro’s camera island design has also been revealed. Unlike the Realme GT 5 Pro’s huge circular camera island, the Realme GT 7 Pro gets a square module, which is now placed in the upper left corner. The main module is placed on a metal-like island with HyperImage+ printing and a color that matches the orange back panel.

Prior to this, Realme shared some vital details about the GT 7 Pro’s screen, which is a Samsung Eco² OLED Plus display. The company revealed that it is a depolarized 8T LTPO panel and that the model is the first to employ a 120% DCI-P3 color gamut. Realme also underscored that the Realme GT 7 Pro has excellent visibility, noting that it has more than 2,000nits peak brightness and over 6,000nits local peak brightness. Conversely, the phone also offers hardware-level full-brightness DC dimming. Another highlight of the display is its low power consumption despite its high visibility under bright conditions. According to Realme, the GT 7 Pro’s display has a 52% lower consumption compared to its predecessor.

  • Here are the other things we know about the Realme GT 7 Pro:
  • Snapdragon 8 Elite

OnePlus 13 gets enhanced camera system; Company shares official photo samples https://xiaomiui.net/oneplus-13-enhanced-camera-system-photo-samples-59009/ Fri, 25 Oct 2024 06:48:59 +0000 https://xiaomiui.net/?p=59009 OnePlus has confirmed more details about the OnePlus 13 ahead of its debut at the end of the month. This time, however, the brand has focused on its camera system, which offers improved shooters.

The OnePlus 13 will arrive on October 31. The company shared the colors (White-Dawn, Blue Moment, and Obsidian Secret color options, which will feature silk glass, soft BabySkin texture, and Ebony Wood Grain Glass finish designs, respectively) and the official design of the phone days ago. Like its predecessor, the OnePlus 13 will still have a huge circular camera island on the back, albeit it no longer has a hinge that attaches it to the side frames.

While the OnePlus 13 looks significantly similar to the OnePlus 12, the company revealed that it possesses better cameras on the back. According to OnePlus, the OnePlus 13 will have three 50MP cameras, led by a Sony LYT-808 main unit. There will also be a 50MP dual-prism telephoto with 3x zoom and 50MP ultrawide lenses, which hopefully will complement each other and produce more stunning photos during actual use.

OnePlus claims that the OnePlus 13 can shoot photos quickly at 1/10,000sec without blurs, noting that the system is capable of handling dynamic scenes. To prove this and the power of the phone’s Hasselblad Master Images technology, the company provided some photo samples.

The OnePlus 13 was used from simple portraits to action-based scenes, and impressively, all photos show vibrant colors and clear details that are free of blurs.

The news follows an earlier unboxing clip shared by OnePlus itself, featuring the OnePlus 13 in a 24GB/1TB variant. The main highlight of the clip is the fast reaction time of the OnePlus 13, which is expected to be released with ColorOS in China and OxygenOS globally. The phone was incredibly smooth and responsive at each touch, from switching from one app to another to accessing its Fluid Cloud (a Dynamic Island-like feature in BBK phones). The demo also featured the phone quickly recognizing a word command from the user, highlighting its efficient AI assistant. In the process, it was also confirmed that the phone houses a huge 6000mAh battery and supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Vivo exec explains X200 Pro camera flare issue, promises fix via OTA update https://xiaomiui.net/vivo-exec-explains-x200-pro-flare-promises-fix-59005/ Fri, 25 Oct 2024 06:43:12 +0000 https://xiaomiui.net/?p=59005 Vivo VP Huang Tao addressed an issue involving the camera lens flare in the brand’s X200 Pro model. The executive also shared that the company is working on a solution, which should be rolled out soon.

Several users recently reported experiencing flare issues in their Vivo X200 Pro camera. Sadly, the flares in the images appear significantly visible, affecting the entire quality of the photos.

Huang Tao responded to the complaints through a social media post, explaining why this “very extreme off-screen glare” happened. According to the VP, the issue was the arc of the lens and its f/1.57 aperture. When using the camera at specific angles and the light hits it, a flare occurs. The executive also offered an explanation on why this was not determined during the device development.

“According to our past experience, off-screen glare is a common phenomenon in optical photography, and the probability of triggering is very low, which has little impact on normal photography, so there is generally no special off-screen glare test,” the VP wrote.

The executive said that an OTA update for the phone would fix it. In addition to software optimization, Huang Tao shared that users with severe issues like this could be offered hardware-based solutions through the use of some “free” accessories.

To recall, the Vivo X200 Pro has the following camera specifications and overall details:

  • Dimensity 9400
  • 12GB/256GB (CN¥5,299), 16GB/512GB (CN¥5,999), 16GB/1TB (CN¥6,499), and 16GB/1TB (Satellite Version, CN¥6,799) configurations
  • 6.78″ 120Hz 8T LTPO AMOLED with 2800 x 1260px resolution and up to 4500 nits peak brightness
  • Rear Camera: 50MP wide (1/1.28″) with PDAF and OIS + 200MP periscope telephoto (1/1.4″) with PDAF, OIS, 3.7x optical zoom, and macro + 50MP ultrawide (1/2.76″) with AF
  • Selfie Camera: 32MP
  • 6000mAh
  • 90W wired + 30W wireless charging
  • Android 15-based OriginOS 5
  • IP68/IP69

New renders affirm earlier Xiaomi 15 Ultra camera setup schematics https://xiaomiui.net/render-affirm-xiaomi-15-ultra-camera-schematic-58987/ Thu, 24 Oct 2024 07:58:23 +0000 https://xiaomiui.net/?p=58987 A new set of renders shows the Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s back design. While the camera arrangement seems bizarre, it supports an earlier schematic leak that revealed the model’s alleged lens placement.

The Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro are expected to arrive this month (the most recent reports claim October 29). The Xiaomi 15 Ultra, however, will debut separately, with reports saying that it will happen in the first quarter of 2025.

While the phone’s official specifications remain unavailable, various leaks have already revealed several details. Earlier this month, a Xiaomi 15 Ultra schematic appeared online, showing the phone’s huge circular camera island in the upper center of the back panel. The images also showed the Ultra model’s lens arrangement.

Now, a new leak sporting the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in renders affirms this camera arrangement. According to the image, there will be four lenses in the back: one of them is placed at the upper part, while the other three are placed next to each other at the bottom.

This is quite different from the camera lens arrangement in the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, and it is quite peculiar since the cutout setup looks uneven. Yet, as we noted in the past, such a lek should always be taken with a pinch of salt.

In related news, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra camera system reportedly features a 200MP periscope telephoto at the top and a 1″ camera below it. According to a tipster, the former is the Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor that is taken from the Vivo X100 Ultra, while the 200MP lens is the same unit as the one in the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which is a 50MP Sony LYT-900 with OIS. On the other hand, the ultrawide and telephoto lenses will also be borrowed from the Xiaomi Mi 14 Ultra, meaning they will still be 50MP Sony IMX858 lenses. Fans can also expect the Leica technology in the system.

OnePlus 13 24GB/1TB stars in official unboxing clip; 6000mAh battery, 100W/50W charging confirmed https://xiaomiui.net/oneplus-13-24gb-1tb-unboxing-6000mah-100w-50w-charging-58983/ Thu, 24 Oct 2024 07:53:38 +0000 https://xiaomiui.net/?p=58983 OnePlus shared an official unboxing clip of the upcoming OnePlus 13 to highlight its design and smooth display responses of its 24GB/1TB variant. During the demo, the clip also confirmed that the device will be powered by a 6000mAh battery and support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The OnePlus 13 is set to launch on October 31 in China, and OnePlus has already confirmed several significant details about the phone. Some include the design and colors (White-Dawn, Blue Moment, and Obsidian Secret color options, which will feature silk glass, soft BabySkin texture, and Ebony Wood Grain Glass finish designs, respectively) of the phone.

Now, as part of its marketing campaign to further excite fans, OnePlus has released an unboxing clip of the OnePlus 13.

The video shows the red retail box of the OnePlus 13, revealing and confirming that it comes in a 24GB/1TB variant. The phone sports a white back panel with slight curves on its sides. Its huge circular camera island on the back is positioned in the same place as that of its predecessor, but it no longer has the hinge that attaches it to the side. The side frames are flat, while the display seems to have minimal curves on its sides, affirming earlier reports that it has an equal-depth micro-curved glass cover.

In the process, it was also confirmed that the phone houses a huge 6000mAh battery and support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Sadly, the OnePlus 13 is expected to get a price hike. Recently, the phone’s 12GB variant was spotted in a listing priced at CN¥4699, which is CN¥400 higher than the same configuration in the OnePlus 12. The 16GB/512GB version, meanwhile, is said to arrive with a CN¥5200 or CN¥5299 price tag. To recall, this same configuration of the OnePlus 12 costs CN¥4799. According to rumors, the reason for the increase is the use of the Snapdragon 8 Elite and DisplayMate A++ display.
