Nothing Phone (3) arrives with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, Glyph Matrix, $799 base price

The Nothing Phone (3) is finally official and arrives as the brand’s first flagship model.

The news follows several teasers and leaks involving the model. As reported in the past, the device doesn’t have the iconic Glyph Interface of the Nothing brand. Yet, it has been replaced with the more versatile Glyph Matrix, which can feature more symbols and signals, including Solar Clock, Stopwatch, Battery Indicator, Glyph Mirror, and more.

It also has a rather small battery for a “flagship” model at 5150mAh, but it comes with 15W wireless charging, which is paired with its 65W wired charging support. Thankfully, the variant in India has a bigger 5500mAh pack.

Meanwhile, its chip is a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, which was questioned by fans earlier. Yet, as an executive explained in the past, this SoC choice allows the brand to deliver 5 years of Android updates and 7 years of security patches to the phone.

The new Nothing smartphone is available in black and white colorways. Configurations include 12GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB, priced at $799 and $899, respectively. Pre-orders will start on July 4, while sales will commence on July 15. The phone is expected to arrive in various markets, including India, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the Philippines, and Australia.
