Nothing Phone (3) to skip Glyph LED light feature

This week, Nothing announced an incredibly bizarre decision: the Nothing Phone (3) won’t have Glyph LED lights.

Glyph LED light, in addition to the transparent design, is a staple detail in Nothing phones. In its recent releases, the brand injected the said features into the Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro. However, according to the company, the Glyph LED interface won’t be coming to the Nothing Phone (3).

We are not exactly sure if that means that the phone will have no light elements on its back, as we are hoping that the brand is just teasing us. According to some speculations, instead of the usual Glyph LED, Nothing is opting for the dot-matrix design, which is not impossible.

The news follows earlier announcements of the brand about the Nothing Phone (3), which is expected to arrive in July. CEO Carl Pei also shared earlier that the handheld will not only offer “premium materials” but will also boast “major performance upgrades.” According to the executive, the upcoming model will be priced “around £800” (around $1063). To recall, the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro start at $379 and $459, respectively.
