After earlier leaks, Nothing has finally stepped forward to corroborate the rumors about the camera details of the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro.
The Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro are coming on March 4. Ahead of the date, the brand is gradually sharing some of the details of the phones. After some teasers about the Glyph Interface of the series, the company has now revealed the camera details of the Pro device.
According to Nothing, the Phone (3a) Pro offers a 50MP main camera with “Shake-free” OIS, an 8MP Sony ultrawide, and a 50MP Sony periscope with OIS. In front is another 50MP camera for selfies.
The news corroborates earlier leaks about the phone’s camera system. Nothing says that the periscope unit has a 70mm focal length. As per earlier leaks, it could offer 3x optical zoom and 60X hybrid zoom. This section is believed to be the main difference between the Pro and standard variants, with the latter only offering a 2x telephoto camera.
The brand’s post also includes the camera module design of the Phone (3a) Pro, which offers the same general design as its predecessors. The flash unit is placed near the camera lens cutouts, and the LED strips appear to surround the island.
The series is expected to arrive with a Snapdragon 7S Gen 3 chip, a 6.72″ 120Hz AMOLED, and a 5000mAh battery. According to earlier reports, the Nothing Phone (3a) will also feature a 32MP selfie camera and 45W charging support. Both phones are also expected to arrive with Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.1. Ultimately, the Nothing Phone (3a) is reportedly coming in 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB options, while the Pro model will only be offered in a single 12GB/256GB configuration.
