Nubia Z70S Ultra launches with Snapdragon 8 Elite, larger battery, better camera

The Nubia Z70S Ultra is finally here to offer fans some impressive features we already love in the original Nubia Z70 Ultra.

The Nubia Z70S Ultra is basically the same as the Nubia Z70 Ultra, but it has received some tweaks and improvements. The main highlights of the phone are its 50MP 1/1.3” OmniVision Light Fusion 900 sensor and 6600mAh battery, which are huge improvements over the Nubia Z70 Ultra’s Sony IMX906 1/1.56” camera and 6150mAh battery. However, it is important to note that the Nubia Z70S Ultra still has the same 80W charging support and drops the variable lens in this variant. To recall, the OG model has an f/1.6-f/4.0 aperture, while this new model only has an f/1.7 35mm lens.

On a positive note, the Z70S Ultra is still powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship chip and has adopted many other details of the standard model. The handheld is available in Twilight and Melting Gold colorways. Configurations include 12GB/256GB (CN¥4600), 16GB/512GB (CN¥5000), 16GB/1TB (CN¥5600), and 24GB/1TB (CN¥6300).
