OnePlus 11 gets partial screen recording feature via update

OnePlus has introduced a new update to the OnePlus 11 model, which now supports partial screen recording.

The OxygenOS 15.0.0.800 is now rolling out to the said model in various markets, including India, Europe, and globally.

The new capability allows users to record a specific area of the display instead of capturing its entirety.

In addition to the feature, the new update also offers other additions to the system, including the April 2025 Android security patch.

Apps

  • Adds partial screen recording. You can now select a specific area of the screen to record, instead of capturing the entire screen.

Interconnection

  • You can now connect your phone to your Mac. You can now view your phone files on your Mac and transfer files between the devices.

System

  • Introduces stack view for the Recent tasks screen, which can be turned or off in “Settings – Home screen & Lock screen – Recent tasks manager”.
  • Enhances gesture recognition for closing floating windows; improves shadow effects around floating windows.
  • Integrates the April 2025 Android security patch to enhance system security.
