OnePlus 13’s first global update includes Gemini Nano support

OnePlus has started rolling out the first update for the OnePlus 13 model in the global market, and it includes support for Gemini Nano.

The OnePlus 13 debuted globally alongside the OnePlus 13R earlier this month. After the latter received its first update, the brand started releasing the OnePlus 13’s first update.

The update brings the CPH2655_15.0.0.402 version of the system and provides a handful of interesting details. Some include new watermark personalization styles, Live Alerts charging status, and Google Messages AI features.

The main highlight of the update is the arrival of the Gemini Nano support. This makes the model the first to receive such support for Google’s mobile AI model. It is important to note that the feature is not directly mentioned in the changelog, but folks at Android Authority explained that it installs the Android AICore app. This app should then be updated on Google Play Store to download the Gemini Nano. The process can be pushed by accessing the Google Messages app and tapping the Magic Compose button.
