OnePlus 13 gets Windows remote control, speaker cleaner, more in new update

OnePlus 13 now supports new and interesting features, thanks to a new update from the brand in India.

The company is now rolling out the OxygenOS 15.0.0.831 update to the OnePlus 13 model in the Indian market. The update offers improvements and various additions to the system, including the ability to access Windows PCs and their files remotely using a phone. 

Additionally, the model now has Live screenshots and Flashback recording, which are both available using the Game Camera feature. According to the company, the update also enables the Mind Mapping capability in the Documents app and the Speaker cleaner feature.

Needless to say, the OxygenOS 15.0.0.831 also offers other additions to the OnePlus 13, including:

Communication & interconnection

  • Adds remote control support for Windows PC. You can now control your PC and access PC files remotely with your mobile device.
  • Improves the cellular network algorithm for smoother network connections.

Apps

  • Introduces Game Camera, which provides Live screenshots and Flashback recording to help you capture your epic gaming moments.
  • Adds the Mind mapping feature in Documents. It allows you to generate mind maps with one tap, and export them to Photos or share them.

Multimedia

  • Adds the Speaker cleaner feature, which can clean speakers and ensure optimal speaker performance. You can change the settings for this feature in “Phone Manager – Tools – More – Accessibility & convenience – Speaker cleaner”.

System

  • Adds the Drag & drop feature that allows you to use the gesture to perform actions on images and text in third-party apps. You can change the settings for this feature in “Settings – Accessibility & convenience – Drag & drop”.
  • Adds an option to reduce white point, which enhances the comfort level of people with color sensitivity. This option is available in “Settings – Accessibility & convenience – Accessibility – Vision – Reduce white point”.
  • You can now search for app names in Settings to quickly view app details or manage apps.
  • You can now perform fuzzy searches with spaces in Settings.
  • Improves the floating bar responsiveness of floating windows.
  • Improves the animation when exiting Quick Settings and the Notification drawer for better responsiveness and smoother transitions.
  • You can now seamlessly open an app from quick functions when the screen is locked.
  • When notifications are stacked, the latest notification will now display a summary showing the number of undisplayed notifications and their sources.
  • Improves the color effect of the navigation bar background and app icons in some scenarios for better consistency of colors.
  • Improves the Recent tasks feature, which now supports more apps to run in the background.
  • Optimizes the display order of search results in Settings.
  • Integrates the June 2025 Android security patch to enhance system security.
