The colors and designs of the upcoming OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra and OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition have been finally revealed.
The two models will launch on May 27 in China. After earlier leaks, the brand shared a marketing poster featuring the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra in its silver colorway. Now, aside from the said variant, the OnePlus China website finally confirms that both models will be available in three color options.
According to the images, the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra and OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition employ a similar flat design with vertical pill-shaped camera islands on the upper left of their back panels. However, the Ultra model has three cutouts on its module, while the Racing Edition only has two cutouts.
The OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra will be available in blue, black, and silver colors, with the last boasting a vertical line pattern design across the entire back panel. The OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition, on the other hand, comes in green, black, and pearl white colors.
The company also shared that the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra will indeed come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip. It will be joined by the OnePlus G1 chip, which should enhance the gaming experience by providing stable and high-performance network connectivity. Other details the Ultra model could offer include a 7000mAh battery, 100W charging support, a 6.83″ OLED, a 50MP main camera, and a 16MP selfie camera.
The OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra is expected to arrive with the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition, which has a similar design but with a smaller camera island. According to earlier reports, the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition would be the first to employ the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chip. Aside from the SoC, it could also feature a 6.77″ flat LTPS display, a 16MP selfie camera, a 50MP + 2MP rear camera setup, an optical fingerprint scanner, a 7000mAh battery, 80W charging, and a plastic frame.
